Bought this in white hoping that it would be Hi-Vis! ..............The lock is just about the right length for locking against posts etc. with 2 keys. Have pulled back the protective sleeve to see a high tensile square welded chain that appears pretty solid. What do you post about a product like this? It works ok?, or it was broken by thieves? Hopefully I won't have to report a failure. To be more positive I can say it's lightweight, stylish & looks difficult to cut! After having 3 bikes stolen from outside my house I'm just hoping the positive reviews are correct! Am V happy so far :D

On the basis that like me you don't own a bike that cost more than £500 and you don't park your bike near a University or in city center then this lock is perfect for quick stops. OK so it's no match for a strong lad and a pair of bolt cutters, but it is very light and will easily go unnoticed in a back pack. It's also stronger than a similar sized cable lock and the fact that it's an abuse chain will lift you above all the low hanging fruit locked with cheap cable locks.

Love it! The material covering the chain protects my bike from scratches and the chain feels really heavy duty although it's still light enough to carry around. I'm still worried about losing the key but thats user error and nothing to so with the chain. Great lock

Light weight and easy to carry. Lock sturdy enough to deter grab and dash thieves. I use the bike when I go to coffee shops or to keep my front wheel locked when bike stored.

Ideal for my white bike I wanted one to match the colour and it does that nicely.I also wanted a key lock not a combo one, so its a brilliant purchase.

Very good for bike. I keep mine inside and only when I go out I use it, but my brother is using it all the time, before this, he lost like two.

Hubby said it's very good and too thick for anyone to try and cut it without any special equipment - just what he wanted for his bike.

The padlock is of good quality and is long enough to tie the bike to lampposts or trees, to spare. very well

This smaller chain, helps me, when i am on the go. I can easily lock my bike and it doesn't weigh it down.

+ Abus make some excellent locks and this is no exception.- Black, not really. More of a dark grey.

Good choice for a low crime area. However, I would NOT choose this color again. Gets dirty quick.
