I agree It is almost the weight of my bike, but it is very solid, very flexible, well protected by the nylon cover and therefor causes no damage to the bike, and ART 3 approved and valid for most insurances. The length is a necessity to be able to lock it to a tree as well.

Needed to fit one of these in order to reduce insurance premiums on my mountain bikes. The chain is very heavy duty 'gold secure' standard. I used it with a ground anchor and the chain is long enough to secure three bikes via frame and rear wheel to the anchor.

A real heavy duty lock that could secure a number of bikes to a ground/wall anchor at home. In this longest length it would be far too heavy to carry on bike rides though.

Good heavy quality.I bought this lock to chain my ATB's front and backwheel together through the frame, it is even long enough to do that and also wrap it around a pole.

Heavy but nicely wrapped and fairy easy to use and to wrap up for when biking. Signals trouble for anyone considering to steal my bike.
