This is an absolute BEAST of a lock. not something you can take on a long tour unless you have a baggage carrier vehicle or something. I exaggerate a little perhaps - but it is very heavy at just under 2kg (my whole bike weighs 7.5kg) but with that weight comes a lot of peace of mind.I purchased this lock as it was well recommended by reviews and it fit the category of lock required for the value of my bike based on insurance terms and conditions. It's a good size, when its used at home, as I keep my bikes indoors, I can fit it through the frame of my road bike, my hybrid and my partners fashion Pashley bike all at once, so thats a great benefit.

Very confident with the design and overall quality-i can imagine i will have this chain for lifeI've heard good things about Abus and I can see why, I cant really imagine a thief having a tough time even getting through the plastic mesh thats secured around this hefty chain.The length is perfect for wrapping round seat post 3 times- only downside I can see is that some people wouldnt want the extra weight.....

Just received this chain yeaterday and it's just perfect, its long at 120.5cm and weighs in at lb4.11.8oz, and is completely covered in a nylon sheaf,and is flexible emough to be wrapped round a pole a few times, And it comes with 2keys, It's a good edition to the bike chain i already own ??

I will recommend this for any motorbikes than for bicycles. Its really heavy (2kg) But ordered the next smaller version Ivera chain which is 1.2 kg. The made quality is really good. It won't leave a scratch on your bike.

A lot easier than my previous chain lock to open and close. The locking mechanism is really simple but very clever. Feels solid.

Great quality, definitely make your bycicles are safe, there is no way to steal your bycicle for thief. Best purchase at Amazon.

One thing could be better: the lock could be slimmer, so it would fit better to smaller places and most of loop cables.

Incredibly secure, bit heavy but have been using for months and feels like my bike is always very safe.

Heavy and solid chain, certainly locks the bikes up well! Heavy duty covering protects the paintwork

Great lock. I like the way it is completely covered so it can't scratch the bike. A steal under $40.

I've had it for some time now and have no complaints. It's heavy duty and does not scratch my bike.

The lock is very thick and I believe it helps my bike safe. The key is very easy to use.
