I do have an U (D-) lock but decided to buy a chain with an automatic lock to park my medium value bike in less theft-prone areas. Sometimes it's a headache to find a proper post to attach a bike with D-lock. It is for example almost impossible to use a tree or a street light when you use a D-lock. 110 cm chain significantly expands the range of parking possibilities and the key-less locking makes it quicker. The chain is not much heavier than a solid D-lock in contrast with other, higher rated chains, but at the same time it feels and looks solid enough to be a good deterrent and even withstand some less advanced cutting tools.

Quality is strong and i am using it for last 3 months, i am happy to leave mu Specialised Langster with this lock.Only concern is carrying. My bike is very light weight, but if you need more security you have to sacrifice something , especially my previous bike was stolen.So i will recommend.
