I am pleased with these overall, even though the storage case is stupidly designed (no place to store the strap, fer Chrissakes!). The binoculars are very easy to focus with one finger, without having to do to many micro adjustments. The image through the lenses is crisp and bright. Pay attention to the listed weight, when you are considering these, though, because they feel pretty heavy when you have them in hand. The strap is nicely padded and contoured, to distribute the weight evenly across the back of your neck. Still, the truth is it’s a lot of weight to hang on your neck for an extended period. I like the smooth, plain casing on the binoculars, with textured traction pads in just the right places for your fingers.

I bought these as a replacement for an ageing pair of binoculars. I wanted a pair that would be sturdy for everyday use and would fit into the map pocket of my Paramo. The binoculars are everything that I wanted, they are bright, fit in the hand beautifully and I'm delighted with them. One of the tick boxes above was "Is it lightweight" the quick answer is not really, these are a professionally made pair of binocs and feel just right., not too light to feel flimsy and not too heavy to feel uncomfortable.

I've used these binoculars, primarily for birding, for several months now and I'm very happy with them. The light is great, given the price. My only minor gripe is with the case design. But I only use the case for transport while traveling, so the inconvenience is minor. The issue is that, with a one zipper design, I am unable to zip the case and leave a strap attached. I zip it half way and snap the case, leaving the other side open and with the strap hanging out there.

Tried them out birdwatching a few weeks ago. Crisp, clean, magnification. My old pair, not Zeiss, had a zoom. I kept reaching for it but really, it was hard to steady the old ones once you zoomed up. These have a nice sharp image and the magnification is great. I think searching for the zoom was just an old habit. These are great without it. The weight will take some getting use to but it's worth it.

My wife and I go birding together. After we decided to upgrade from our initial, inexpensive binoculars, we started looking for better ones. We tried three brands, and these won out. My wife says "they find the bird so easily". And that seems to be true. They are not that much sharper or brighter than the other brands, but they focus with greater ease for some reason.

Even this "chinese" version is better than other competitors. Bino feels great. I encounter 2 issues -right lens has some blur on the edges, and bag doesnt close when you attach the strap. Strap feels cheap. I would still buy it again because of its performance. Good substitute for those who cant afford "real" carl zaiss for 900$.

Despite some of the mixed reviews, I find the Zeiss Terra binoculars very clear and crisp and exceptional value when compared to other very expensive binoculars of the same specifications that I have used.The supplier was very efficient and also deserves 5 stars!

Great binoculars, very sharp and bright. Easy to adjust. Comes with a nice case, German optics at an affordable price. I have a similar pair of Minox binoculars, that cost twice as much more than a few years ago. These are comparable!

The fit and finish, the case, strap even the box are all extraordinary. Not to mention the fine optics and controls. I bought the Nikon Monarch at the same time and returned the Nikon and love the Zeiss.

Superb German design and manufactured to an equally high standard. The most important criteria, the picture quality, is what you would expect from a Zeiss product. Couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

It was a birthday gift to my daughter. She is very happy! She says you can see the pin feathers on the ducks on the pond in back of our house with her new Zeiss Terra ED binoculars.

The are light-weight, compact and I don't fumble around taking the covers off....Love the eye piece for use with my glasses on. Very clear.

These are great but heavier than I expected. I carry a large camera/lens so they add more weight than I like but the view is great.

Great binoculars for the price. Great clarity. Excellent for bird watching. Good price for what can be expensive binoculars.
