The ropeman MK2 works really well, the only complaint that I have is that when attempting to loosen unless done very specifically the rope will catch on the teeth. I think they are just a little to deep and it makes it hard to easily loosen. Because of the teeth have somewhat damaged my lineman rope. On the bright side it tightens up butter smooth

I use Gafes to climb the trees that I deer hunt out of. For years I’ve fought with prussic knots trying to adjust them when ascending and descending trees. The first day I used the RopeMan I wanted to kick myself for not having it years before. I can’t believe just how easy it is to take up slack or let out some rope with just one hand.

Rock man so as of stage hand I just used it for the first time building scaffold great position or just to have the extra rope so you can get around and I recommend it it´s lightweight and try easy to use I have a GRIGRI and it´s lighter

Can close the punch with 2 Ropeman inside. Excellent product, is nicely doing the job. Can use any belay carabiner. I have tried AM'd and Williams from Petzl, Concept from CT and my favourite, Condor from Ocun.

Shipping was reasonable and product arrived nicely packaged. I’m building 2 lineman’s ropes with these ascenders and they are very nice quality!

As a novice this product cought my eye as being a cleaner safety backup than a prussic loop, less fiddly,, no doubt I'll have another soon.

Works great on 8 mm rope... it will mess the outer sheath of the rope up so if you buy high dollar rope I’d go with the ropeman 1.

Excellent product. Use it on my lineman's belt in place of a prusic. Allows for one handed operation.
