The woman singing the songs is slightly annoying, like for "a tisket a tasket", she seems out of time with the music, but is good for entertaining the little one.The buttons have complex functionality to unlock the songs played by different instruments (the instruments in the pictures, or press and hold for piano in music mode), so it keeps me entertained too.My kid managed to trap his fingers in between the hard plastic pages when turning them, but it's impossible to actually injure anyone.

Five stars mean 'I love it' but it was my year old granddaughter who loved it. There are three or four pages to turn, with bits to twiddle with on the pages and buttons to press at the side. Each turn of a page starts a new nursery rhyme, and the voices and words are clear. You are given the choice of words or just music by pushing a switch from one side to the other. My granddaughter spends a lot of time playing with this. It seems very sturdy and I suspect will last a long time.

Bought this for our 10 month old boy who loves all VTech toys and this one is great just like all the others we have. He's now 15 months and still loves playing with this. It's easy to take out and about too which is really handy. Would highly recommend this great baby toy!

Lovely book, best one in my opinion. My baby loves the star which lights up and could eventually press the buttons herself at around 3 months which was nice to see :) I like it so much I've bought it again for a friend!

6 months down & the baby still lives it, highly recommended, excellent pleasant voice for the nursery rhymes, not too loud. Baby can't get fingers trapped in between the pages. So yes....highly recommended

This is one of the best toys I bought for my daughter ever, she plays with this book every day, especially when eating. There are so many songs that she never seems to be bored of it! Highly recommended.

We bought this because we wanted our daughter to have more toys that allow her to interact with.Our little one loves this book and it keeps her busy interacting with the sound and visuals.

Looks great, works well, volume control is availableMy little girl is only 1 month and not ready for it yet, but I can see her having lots of fun with it in two months !

My baby has adored this book since 4 month's old. Even now at 12 months old this book is always the first toy out in the morning. Definitely a good buy!

My granddaughter absolutely loves this musical book. She was 11 months at Xmas and is turning the pages and thoroughly enjoying playing with it.

This is an amazing buy. The best toy I got for my 6 months old so far. He really loves it's unlike other toys doesn't get bored if it (yet).
