I thought long and hard before I bought this swiss army knife. There are models such as the Mini Champ which have more tools but as a result are thicker. So I thought long and hard about which tools I would ACTUALLY use and this was the result. It has an incredibly sharp blade which comes in handy for opening letters and parcels, cutting tags off clothes, etc. Don't let its small size fool you. And of course it's made from beautiful quality stainless steel which holds it edge well, is easy to sharpen, and rust proof. The scissors, although small, work very well too. There is also a good quality nail file which I find myself using more than expected. The tip of this doubles up as a flat bladed screwdriver. But one of the most impressive tools is the bottle opener/wire stripper/phillips screwdriver. This is made of thicker steel than the other tools and is therefore incredibly strong for its size. The screwdriver bit is magnetic and fits a wide range of phillips screws including the tiny ones used in spectacles! I haven't used the wire stripper yet so can't really comment but I'm sure it will do a fine job. The bottle opener of course is always a handy thing to have on your person. As if this wasn't enough, there are two extra surprises. A pair of tweezers which store away neatly in the handle, or you can swap them out for a toothpick if you prefer. And finally, the pièce de résistance of this knife is an incredibly useful pen which pops out when you slide a little lever. I was a bit sceptical of this at first thinking it would be impossible to obtain refills. However it would appear I'm wrong as they seem widely available from a number of sources at relatively little cost. I find myself using the pen all the time and people are always impressed when they see it in action. One tip to make it easier to write with the pen is to open out the bottle opener/wire stripper/screwdriver tool as this makes it much easier to hold in your hand.So yes, as you can tell I love my little swiss army knife. And you will too!

This is the best keyring tool I've ever invested in. I use it every day in one way or another. I carefully chose this Victorinox Manager since it has everything I need on it.___________Pen - Used every day for taking notes on my hand at short notice and signing deliveries.Knife - Used every day for opening post and parcels. Very sharp knife can cut though cardboard, laminated packaging etc.Bottle Opener - Used weekly for opening bottles of alcohol or Coke.Tweezers/ Toothpick - You get both with this model, but you can only keep one within the SAK itself. I keep the tweezers with mine and is great for removing splinters or picking things out of small places.Phillips Screwdriver head - Only used occasionally but does get used, most recently for tightening up my showerhead bracket in the bathroom.Wire stripper - never used.Scissors - Frequently used for cutting labels off clothing, stray threads, sewing etc.Flat head screwdriver - Never used it for this purpose, but it does double as a handy way for cleaning under your finger nails.Nail file - Used weekly.Keyring loop - Used every day so my SAK is hooked on to my keys so it's comes everywhere with me._____________________I wish it this model of SAK came with a built in torch, but not a major problem. I understand there is a model called the Midnite Manager, but not sure if this is discontinued or not.Overall, a fabulous piece of kit, as ever stellar workmanship from Victorinox on making such a high quality SAK. Amazing innovation indeed. Best investment I've ever made and from my understanding from reading other review, they last for decades if taken care of properly.10/10

Victorinox have a large range of Swiss Army Knife models to cater to everyone. I scoured the range to look for one that had at least a blade, scissors and bottle opener but did NOT have a corkscrew, as I have no need for one and it is one particular tool that makes the knife thicker than it needs to be without any real benefit (to me).I looked at the 'SD Classic', but that had only the blade and scissors. Then I found the 'Manager' fits my requirements above and also has the added bonus of containing a magnetised Phillips screwdriver, wire stripper, standard slot screwdriver, filer, tweezers and... a pen! Now these are all additional tools I can see myself using out and about (unlike a corkscrew),and it doesn't seem that much thicker than the basic SD Classic. Also had a look at the 'Mini Champ' which has a few more tools than the Manager, but it is considerably thicker but I felt I could do without those extras for the convenience of the size of the Manager.

I bought the VIC Mini Champ before this but found the excess number of tools more of a nuisance than a help. Trying to find the one you need was tiresome. I found myself more often reaching for something quicker and more convenient rather than going through the frustration of trying to find the right tool. This is much handier. Nail care one side, blade and driver on the other. The pen is good, reliable and was a feature I did not want to do without, marking wood, writing down measurements and notes. I did not find the tweezers much use, too weak, so opted for carrying the more useful toothpick. The scissors on the Victorinox are really good and much better than I have found on other multi-tools.I never use the bottle opener or wire stripper. The mini Phillips screwdriver has come in handy for battery compartments on kids toys, PC cases etc.Very small and light and can be carried in a pocket without really noticing it is there.

The extra money I paid for this is to get it in sapphire blue scales. And to have scissors, pen and PZ driver, over something like an SD or rally. And it's a gift for someone who will appreciate all that.It makes a fairly good density of function in a small package. The scissors and knife blade (and pen) open at the opposite end to the keyring.. may seem a small detail but means you don't need to remove it from a bunch of keys to get the best of its functionality. The bottle opener isn't the best, but it works. The driver is magnetic and is good for the smaller screws you're more likely to come across and actually want to use a tool like this for... You get an option of which scale tool you want to carry, tweezers installed with toothpick in the box. It's Victorinox.. You know it's gonna be good.

I already own several multitools, and this tiny Victorinox Manager sits perfectly on my key ring. It's light enough not to be noticed in the pocket (it weighs next to nothing), but with enough sturdy little tools to be indispensable for everyday life. To me, Victorinox always produces good quality multitools, and this is no exception. The blue 'jelly' effect is very modern and stylish, taking the usual red of Victorinox multitool knives into the 21st century. Dinky, good looking, practical, useful. Great product!

I bought this pen knife to replace one that was 'confiscated' at an airport. Its about two inches long. I think this penknife has more useful features - two screwdrivers, scissors,a small knife and a bottle opener than the standard victorinox key-ring penknife. The newer version has a pen, I preferred the older version which has the tradition tweezers and toothpick options. Maybe I will learn to love the pen.

Great handy tool with everything you need for your keyring - think of it as a pimped out Classic SD with a bottle opener and pen.The bottle opener is a must-have for me which is why I went for it over the Classic SD.The colour is really cool however I don't think it's hard wearing as the standard red case as it shows scratch marks that you wouldn't get otherwise.Still, I would recommend it.

I got this as a replacement for a lost knife of about the same size which served me well for many years. There's always a trade off with these things - my old one housed the tweezers and toothpick on either side. You can only store one at a time on this model. The extra I get is the bottle opener / philips screwdriver (which I wanted) and the pen (which I did not).Overall very satisfied.

Absolutely love it! Better than the Classic SD as you get more functions, you get another screwdriver head, a bottle opener, and a pen! I had a gift voucher so it wasn't much more expensive than the SD. If you think you need the extras then the SD will suit your needs just fine. But, so far all the tools have been used (only had it a week!) and a must for all keys!

Did my research, this one ticked all the boxes this. Not overloaded with gadgets, just the necessities. Not too pricey. Decent looking as its blue rather than standard red. I use it every day for one thing or another....and attaches to your keys without being noticeable in your pocket. What's not to like?

I have had a Swiss Army Knife on my keys since I got car keys. The one I had from then lasted till last week a mere 24 years! Decided to get a v slightly bigger one as it has screwdrivers and a pen, which is super handy. Very much looking forward to having this on my keys for the next 20 or so years.

Bought for my wife to keep in her hand bag.She says its cute ! She likes it and has used it more than she thought she would. It is small and compact, The blade is small but sharp, handy for slitting packages open but not much more.Tweezers have come in handy a few times.Nice little thing to have.

This is an excellent quality everyday tool. I carry mine on my keyring and bought this to replace an older model that lacked the pen, bottle opener and screwdriver. The attention to detail is very good - mine arrived with the blade oiled and sharp. The size and weight are perfect for keyring use.

I always have had a small Victorinox penknife on my key ring, Now I always have a pen as well. That's why upgraded to this model, plus the fact it had a small phillips screwdriver added to the attraction
