I bought this to replace a Victorinox Classic SD that had been swiped by my partner who works with textiles and whose own Classic SD had given up the ghost after decades of hard labour. Her need is greater than mine; also, this gave me an excuse to buy a new knife.I plumped for the Manager model as I wanted the Phillips-head screwdriver and the pen would probably come in handy too. I considered the Midnite Manager but didn’t want to give up the tweezers in favour of an LED that probably wasn’t that bright.The knife itself is great - the translucent red is cool and the knife, scissors, screwdriver and nail file all do what they do as well as any other Victorinox; that is,brilliantly.My only gripe is this - because of the pen, you have to choose between the tweezers or the toothpick. I don’t feel this was made clear on the listing. It is, however, kind of minor because I’m pretty sure using a toothpick and putting it back in your knife without fully disinfecting it is a recipe for some sort of listeria monster growing over time. Anyway, be aware of this before you buy. I wasn’t.It’s a great little knife though, and the screwdriver lifts it above the Classic SD whilst only adding about a millimetre of bulk, and I wouldn’t leave home without it!

When it arrived it was smaller than i imagined (even thou i new the measurements) however what a lovely little knife and quality build. The size itself is ideal for your keyring, i had considered the mini Swiss champ however the extra bulk and the extra tools were not something i would really use. The knife as the basic tools that you would use day to day i.e blade (which is sharp and easy to resharpen) the scissors even thou small very functional and sharp, bottle opener/ wire stripper/pozi driver its also comes with tweezers and tooth pick in the package however you have to decide which is the most useful to you as you can only carry one or the other as there is only a single hole in the scale to facilitate.The pen works great, a top tip i saw on you tube when using the pen (which stays within the knife when writing) is small and its hard to write with but if you open the stripper/pozi driver it makes it easier to write with (see picture) and finally the flat head screwdriver/nail file. The only thing i would change on this knife would to make the nail file a finer grit would be better (but it still works fine) Hope this helps

I first saw the mini champ but started to think the cuticle pusher was something I would never use, then I thought the second blade is redundant. The file could go on the flat head screwdriver and the box opener was a nice to have but a knife is adequate anyway. So, I opted for this, the manager instead and I don't regret it one bit. You're saving quite a bit of size and weight plus the annoyance of having redundant tools. They could have put a ruler on the other side of the file and that would have been nice, to say, measure screws you had used a driver on, but apart from that, I don't see it being needed that often. I even got this in preference to a mini multi tool concluding that really the only thing it doesn't have is pliers.It's seriously tiny and if you actually compare it to a multi tool, it's maybe even more capable if you consider the pen and tweezers.

Bought this during my time spend as a general IT dogsbody, and it's been indispensible. Parts delivery comes in at the reception, no pen in sight? Solved. Cutting through packaging that could repel a Martian invasion force? Solved. Need to unscrew a device or coax bits of shredded paper out of a temperamental printer? Solved. Need to forget the hell of IT support and crack open a few cold ones after work? Problem solved.I've updated this review after Amazon brought me back to this lovely piece of kit when someone asked a question about it. Probably 3 or 4 years since I first bought it and I still find myself using it on a daily basis for mundane tasks.It's joined my phone and keys in the list of things to check for before leaving the house.

This is the third Manager I've bought, it's just that good. I carry it everywhere I go (with exception of the airport!).The knife and scissors are sharp and hold an edge very well when used for day to day tasks. The other tools are just plain useful to have around, and all work exactly as you'd expect, and the whole product is just quality in every way. I mostly use mine to cut and file my nails, for which it's really invaluable, but it cannot be overstated how useful it is to have a PEN on you at all times without having to carry one!Victorinox make a lot of SAKs, but for my money, this one offers the best ratio of usefulness to size, weight and cost.

My last knife was lost coming through airport security and I never got it back. I loved it so had to get a replacement. Small, compact and light, you hardly know its in your pocket. The knife is sharp as hell, bottle opener works well and has had a lot of use. On the end of it is a small Phillips screwdriver which is great for battery compartments on many small portable devices, cameras, torches, phones etc. The scissors are a joy to use and sharp. Also the file is good with a small flat blade drive on the end. I use the keyring with a small cord on it so I don't loose it again.Great kit...love it!

Bought this one for a gift. Had one similar to this for 14 years. Still going and in regular use. Mine was a model with the additional feature of an LED light in place of the tweezers. Over the years the sides have become detached and the retainer for the LED torch battery has gone AWOL. However the plastic sides have been stuck on and have remained intact. The Apart from that fault the only grumble is that I've not found a source for replacement pen refills......annoying as it is a useful feature. All the cutting, filing levering and screwing bits still work like new. Recommended.

Great product and very quick delivery. I got it 4-5 days before the estimated delivery time with updating emails.I used to have the same pen knife before but unfortunately I forgot to take it off my keys and it was confiscated at the airport, so warning, pack it away in your suitcase if you are travelling! I think the tweezers and the nail file are a great bonus and I also used the scissors on many ocasions. I am a practical person so gadgets like this are just fabulous. Would recommend it.

I initially got myself the Minichamp, with 4 more blades than this knife. My wife loved it so much I got her a Swiss Army Knife of her own.This one, the Manager, is pure, miniaturised perfection, with all the blades you'd actually want to use. The scissors and the Philips screwdriver/bottle opener are invaluable, the blade is handy, and the built-in pen is surprisingly useful.It'll fit beautifully on your key ring, and once you have it you'll wonder what you ever did without it.

Bought this for the Mrs to put on her keys as she was always nicking mine to do stuff.Great for those toddler toy cars that are screwed to a plastic base. Any parent with a toddler will get that the plastic base needs unscrewing like yesterday and will cause distress if not removed.Blades super sharp and scissors and pen are brilliant, you know that damn I need a pen, GAH not got one in the car or pocket, but hey presto slide the switch then the pen part slides out.

Great little pocket knife.It is small enough to fit on a keyring.There is a lite version but you loose the pen to for the light to go in its place. In the end, I decided a pen would get far more use.The tweezers that fit in the other end are really good too.It comes with toothpick and tweezers but you can only fit one of them in the knife at a time.It is very well made and looks like it will last for years

My second one of these as the scissors jammed on the first one. Has the tools I need and it sits on my key ring ready for use. I'm not quite sure the quality is what they used to make - I have seen others lose the plastic off the side. The tools themselves are good although watch you don't catch the spring for the scissors which can then jam. I'd get another one for sure, I use it a lot.

The item is exactly as seen and worth the money, also a nice colour. It was packed very well. Unfortunately I wasn't in on the day it was first delivered but a note was left to say it would be delivered the next day which it was and the driver was nice.

Excellent quality as always. The brand makes the best Swiss Army knives.Strong materials and a sharp blade makes it very durable and trustable. This one will stay on my packet while and old one will be kept on my car for any emergencies.

I brought this for my wife to replace one that she had lost parts off.It does what it says on the tin and is very very handy. It does make me laugh when there is a problem and my wife pulls out her keys and says "I can fix that"
