The previous reviewer was obviously badly advised. This is a disposable (not rechargeable) battery. As such it works perfectly well. I use this in a hands free tap, and it that application it lasts 5-7 years. As long as you do not attempt to recharge it, it will be fine.

It's a battery, it works ! what else could I possibly say. Well the colouring is nice...grey with a little blue but mostly black with tiny brass coloured bits of brass! ?

My old Canon EOS 600 / 3 / RT film cameras use this type of 2CR5 cell. VARTA is an excellent brand and I have used these for years and never found a problem.
