Bought this to try and help fight the “lockdown lard” as rowing is so excellent for cardio and toning the whole body. It is an impressive, stylish and robust piece of kit and wouldn’t look out of place in a gym. Had it a couple of weeks now and am really impressed so far! It takes around 30 mins to set up and is quite long when set up however it is easy to fold away which is handy for space saving. It is around 23kg so pretty easy to manoeuvre. It works by increasing the resistance as you increase your speed, so you can be in control of your workout. The faster you row, the higher the intensity which makes it ideal for people of all fitness levels.It is a little noisy because of the chain drive

The assembly is straight forward, if you follow the instructions. It is a bit difficult to clip the return cord to the drive strap, on your own, but I managed it ok. No parts were missing and the digital display operated correctly.The rowing action is not as smooth as I would like. The drive chain “chatters” over the fan sprocket and the clip on the return cord often hits the counter sensor under the rowing rail. The noises give the impression something is about to fail although that has not happened.I use the rower on the concrete floor of my garage so It does not move around as it might on smooth flooring or carpet. The fan offers adequate resistance and increases if you row harder.

If you were a professional rower you'd be buying a concept 2, but you're not so this will do. Resistance as ample if you pull hard, action of chain and seat are smooth. Display is basic but all you need really, doesn't tell you your splits but if you can math than do that. I'm 188cm (6'2") the chain stops me just before the end of a full stroke so I can't lean as far back as I would on a Concept2 but if I were bothered by this I'd extend the chain a tad (shackle and nylon?) There is around 6" you could add before the chain hits the sproket. Assembly 10 mins.TL;DR, Buy it, it'll do just fine

I wanted this for a more wholistic exercise to supliment cyling both turbo and off road. Didn't want to invest in cancept 2 which seems to be seen as the RR of rowers, but wanted an air rower capable of giving me a run for my money!This ticks al the boxes and I'm still struggelling to come to terms with how hard it can be when you push.I can't fault the product for the work out I'm getting and the price I paid. Yes it is noisy but so is the trad mill and th turbo. I can only improve!

A decent machine which gives me a good workout. It's not as classy as a Concept2, but then again it's 1/3 of the price. It's quite a compact unit and can be folded for storage, fits well in my improvised home gym without being obtrusive. I'm 5'2" and find the pull range great but if you are really tall I think you would find it too small to get a full, range of motion.

Very pleased with this rowing machine. 20 minutes to assemble on my own. Great quality and smooth operation. Fan does make a little noise but with my music on its cancelled out. Well worth paying the extra for it. I'm 6'1" and over the maximum weight for it and it accomadates me easily. Lost 6lbs in my first week of using it. Highly recommended.

Im used to the concept 2 at the gym and bought this after having bought a different magnetic rower which was a bit of a waste of time. Should have gone for this in the first place. Good quality and provides a decent workout particularly when compared to the price of a concept 2.

A good rowing machine with easy to follow instructions to assemble , easy to use & easy to store away when folded , my only criticism is that it is too light at the back so it will move about when your rowing , I solved this by making 2 metal brackets to fix it to the floor .

There is so much choice but reviews of other cheaper ones suggest some dont give comfortable resistance but this seems good, almost like a gym one but no adjustment of resistance. This is managed by by pulling harder or slower accordingly. So a good basic machine - well made

The rower is basic but provides a good workout. The seat and handle are comfortable and the rower feels sturdy (I'm 110kg). The rower is a little noisy but that's typical of an air rower. I'd recommend this for those who don't want to stumble up the money for a Concept 2.

Fairly easy to assemble from the helpful instructions, and now in daily use. Seems quite rugged construction, and comfortable to use. Just the right amount of resistance and the electronic display is very informative. A good buy.

I got one of these recently and is great to use. Everything works perfectly and feels like a smaller version of the concept rowers at the gym. Nice and light too so can fold it up and stow it away

It's good for cardio, but resistance isn't adjustable. There were a couple of bolts missing and a washer, but I bought these at the hardware shop OK. It's sturdy and easy to use.

Sturdy construction, a good display and I get a good work out. Started on a low setting and worked up, overall I am happy with the product. Some assembly required

Easy to assemble easy to use seat slides back long enough and I'm 6-ft 3 found resists the harder you pull the harder it gets all-in-all and excellent bit of kit
