Bought this for a holiday that has since been cancelled however I'll give my hands on verdict of the product. I always go with a hard case as usually my holidays are ski trips and my case needs to protect ski gear (goggles, helmets, etc).First impression when you get the packaging off, it's light....very light. Despite this the construction feels sturdy. There is some flex in the sides but that's true of every hard case I've had. The TSA combination lock seems ok but if someone really wanted to get in they'd just split the zip with something like a screwdriver (even a pen would do it), again this is true of nearly every case out there. Keep in mind that there is no wasy way to use you own padlock on the zips of this case,
