This fits my Nikon lens perfectly. I bought this filter about five years ago and it is used on occasion. I have seen no signs of wear or loss of quality in the several years that it has been in my camera bag. My close inspection shows that there are no flaws or defects that are visible to my naked eye on this filter. There is also no loss of image quality with this filter. The ring, by the way, is metal and not cheaper plastic. If you need a red 62mm filter, this is the way to go.

Good value. R29 filters aren't too common and are mostly at least double the price of this Tiffen. It appears well made but i'm not sure what coatings if any it has. Dramatic skies and deep featureless shadows. To be used with care and probably sparingly. I went for 49mm so that with step rings it can fit on any of my RF lens which vary from 39mm-46mm filter sizes. I've done the same with ND and IR filters , all of which will get occasional use only.

It does the job.. but its quite a thick filter so side shadows can be an issue depending on the light direction.The quality of the filter is the same as my other tiffen filters ie very good.If you were using it mainly with a step down ring at dia smaller than 77mm it would be 5 stars. For me though its 4 due to its thickness on my 77mm wides.

Fits, works as it should with no discernible loss in image quality. It'll give really nice contrast in deeply colored blue skies. I've also used it for an ad-hoc safelight in conjunction with an incandescent bulb, and it seemed to work perfectly in this capacity as well.

I bought a neewer one before and the difference in quality is huge, the newer has a super flaw in the optics that distorts the image in a diagonal across all the filter. this one is way more solid and picture perfect

I got this for landscape work to use in conjunction with a polarizer.It's quality is great and I don't foresee having any problems with it.

I used this filter for infrared photography and it worked just as expected. I was happy the ring was metal instead of plastic.

This not a filter that I use that often, but the times I have used it , it did what I expected and I have no issues with it.

Very nice filter, but it came with fingerprints on it, and I'm not sure how that happened as it was sealed when I got it.
