I already had a 10 stop filter for the largest of my lenses but picked one of these up used for a bargain price for my smaller lenses as I'm a fan of Tiffen filters even if, in my opinion, they do seem to get unfairly panned by reviewers in the UK.Reading reviews there seemed to be a problem with Infra Red light causing colour shifts with this filter when used on on long exposures in daylight. Consequently I was expecting this filter to be a pain to white balance on camera, but did not find this to be the case. I use a Sony A6000 and I'm wondering if these cameras have a particularly strong Infra Red filter as I do not suffer a noticeable or heavy color shifts and did not need to correct the white balance in software.

This is the AXENT 10 stop IR ND FilterThose complaining about colour cast haven't read the Tiffen website details1) only compatible with FF DSLR and Fuji X Trans cameras2) it has an IR effect colour cast - it his supposed to and the website details this - it is used for B&W and IR long exposures and NOT for accurate colour neutral colour long exposures!If you want a neutral colour normal 10 stop filter a la the Lee Bug Stopper get the Tiffen APEX.So all these negative reviewers should've done their research instead of moaning after buying the wrong filter
