Having changed cars recently, to on with roof rails, it was time to change the Thule footings so as to keep the excellent aerobars.Not a great deal to say about these except they are high quality, easy to assemble and do the job perfectly.They're quite low profile so the roofbox sits a little lower. The rubber covered steel straps seem strong and I have no concerns about using these with a fully laden roofbox.A great purchase and the quality you would expect from this leading brand.

In general I quite like the design. However, it’s worth noting that they’re not as easy to release as the older ‘jaw’ type & find I have to use the metal end of the tensioning tool to unclip them. Of course I may be doing something wrong...In terms of longevity, I’m not sure how long they’ll last as they appear to be of cheaper construction. As for security/strength of fit, I’d say that with this design it does provide a better fit as they entirely wrap around the roof rails.

Had Thule aero bars, changed car and need to change footpack. These do the job. Dont look strong to look at apart from steel band but once fixed to roof bars solid as a rock. Fiddley to fit with a roof box as I didnt place them or box correctly, hence i marked a 4. I think it was more user error than the footpack. As ever Thule are up to the job. Thank you

Expensive products but very adaptable and easy attached. They feel very robust and I'm pretty sure I'll have many good years use out of them. They are easily tightened and adjusted to fit and the added bonus of being able to lock them is an essential component. They lose a star for being seriously overpriced.

Great footpack with the added security - both from a strength and anti theft point of view - of a strap that goes round the roof rail and secures with the supplied locks. Get a cheap electric screwdriver or drill with an Allen key piece for even faster fitting.

They're great, fitting on the the roof rails of my 2016 Skoda Superb Estate without any problems.Low profile, easy to lock into place, if not a little difficult to slide onto the roof bars initially.I highly recommend.

Usual Thule quality - but also usual overpricing. A bit fiddly to use single handed if you don't have a lot of clearance under your roof bars. Says to tighten to 6nM - who knows how tight that is without a torque wrench.

If you have roof bars this is the best product by far on the market. Search for Thule 775 and find the best price, very easy to fit and a neat unique design. Comes complete with a pair of keys.

I’ve had these in the pastI tried a cheaper option but you’ll be hard pressed to better a Thule product

Used these on a Yeti, with the 120cm Thule square roof bars from our previous car.

Thule is not cheap but their stuff is easy to fit and gives a sense of security.
