Firstly, can I say that I read MANY reviews regarding this swimsuit and I was in two minds as to whether to go ahead and order it - or not! Well I did order it and many of the reviews are correct!!I am 5ft 8inches tall and a standard UK size 14. I ordered this swimsuit in a size 36 and it fits perfectly. BUT -1. The material is definitely not what you would expect from a Speedo costume. I have had 3 Speedo costumes in my lifetime,( only renewed every time due to my body change or change in fashion) but this material is DIFFERENT! It almost feels as if it is a fake copy but it definitely has all the logo's/ labels for a true Speedo suit. Personally I think Speedo costumes do last - they go the distance,

This is my third Speedo suit, and I have been impressed with the quality of them all. The last legsuit was a Kickback and had a higher back than this one, but the material was more shiny and seems a little thinner. This suit has the slightly thicker rougher material which seems to last longer. The fit is perfect for me at 5.5ft, unlike the Slazengers, which are always too short in the body.All my swim suits get a lot of use with 3 x weekly vigorous aqua classes and 800m length swims, so enevitably they all get the "thinning" on the stress areas. I have notcied with Speedo suits this doesn't happen so quickly, and doesn't go quite so see-through.I am very impressed with the quality of Speedo,

This is a great costume. I have bought it before, about 2-3 years ago, and the old one is still wearable - I rinse it after every swim, don't put it in the machine, and dry it at room temp, and it still hasn't stretched or faded, or split along the stitching. It has very good under-breast support, compared to other costumes. The only downside is that it is possibly slightly short in the body - or maybe I'm long! - but ideally, I could do with it being a cm or so longer. I have lost weight, so I needed another, and was pleased to find the same costume is still available. It arrived very promptly and after several swims, it seems as good as the one it is replacing.

I bought this swimsuit about 3 years ago and it's still going! The material hasn't degraded and it has outlasted a number of other swimsuits (I swim 2-3 times a week). I was prompted to review it today and take off one star as I was swimming along and for the umpteenth time I was pulling it down. This is my only legsuit, so maybe it's a feature of them in general, but I find the gusset is really uncomfortable. It feels as though the seam runs from front to back. It doesn't actually, but somehow still leaves you feeling sort of sliced in half. Definitely something to consider when trying on before buying.

Arrived very quickly, ordered a size 18, as I have curvy proportions and I'm in the dreaded process of trying to do some swimming and exercise to shed a few pounds! The costume being black hides a multitude of sins and fits well. As I've yet to try it out in the pool I cannot say how it performs under water, but the material looks and feels of good sturdy quality and the fitting seems to be pretty supportive up top, so hopefully will hold it all in when I'm swimming. Will give an update on performance once the cossie has been tried and tested a few times.

Being a size 10 (usually) I tried sizes 10 and 12 before reordering the size 14 which does fit really well. I found the smaller sizes too tight around the shoulders, underarms and chest (and I am barely an A cup!). This swimming costume does give really good coverage for the bum unlike other costumes which can look very unflattering in that area! I would expect the "legs" to ride up a bit when actually swimming but that shouldn't be a problem. Generally this costume is very comfortable compared to all the others I've tried!

This swimsuit is exactly what I was looking for. It's modest without being overly obvious about it. It doesn't interfere with my swim, though I've never been the fastest fish in the water! It goes into the wash after every swim and seems to be wearing very well. It's a good fit, and I've ordered one each of two sizes to allow for me losing/putting on weight.

Took a while figuring out the correct size to get here, so sharing information for anyone else -I'm a UK 14-16. More specifically, my fit is UK 14 in ASOS brand clothing and I am 5 foot 10.The UK 18 in this Speedo swimsuit is the perfect fit for me.I also take UK 18 in Slazenger brand swim suits. Hope this is helpful for someone else.

Like the style of the suit but had difficulties with sizes on 2 Occasions and had 2 returns and having to order larger size than I normally wear.Also ordered a micro plate tie be included with order but it never arrived.Reordering would cost postage so have not reordered.

My wife bought this and she absolutely loves it. Sizing is spot on very comfortable didn't ride up in water and most importantly gives her confidence because of the leg coverage. Would recommend to anyone who is a bit less confident wearing your normal shape swim wear.

Go swimming at least 3 times per week and this swimming costume is both comfy and durable. Lifetime of the costume is at least twice that of comparably priced competitors. The big bonus is that with the legs on this costume there are no worries regarding the topiary?

Material is a bit fin, but I love the style!!! Have been looking for that sort of swimsuit for a long time as I do not like showing too much of my body. Hides the cellulite on my but and thighs just like I wanted it to. The only downside - it's not padded.

Really happy with this; I ordered the size I thought would fit best and I was exactly right. It's just stretchy enough to be fitted but not uncomfotable and the style is really great for someone like me who is a little self conscious to go swimming!

I have been buying speedo for decades. This suit seems to be made of a thinner material than usual and legs could be a little bit longer since I find myself pulling them down constantly because they go up all the time and it’s uncomfortable.

Looks respectable for a woman my age and condition (!) but very flattering too. Quite a sporty look. Comfortable but have yet to wear in water - bought for my holiday :-) normally a ten but had to reorder in twelve for better fit.
