I've been using these for years and in conjunction with a good quality puncture resistant tyre I haven't had a problem puncture for that long either. Just bought a new Giant bike so got one of these for the rear. The idea behind these tubes isnt that they will stop ANY puncture but basically small ones. thorns, bits of glass etc, if you get a massive gash it wont help, also I'm not sure how they fare on 'pinch' punctures. Ive been use to mountain bikes and trail bikes my new one is a road bike so hopefully they'll serve me as well as they have over the last 5 years or so. The only thing I would draw your attention to is that the presta valve on this tube is very long, its a lot longer than the one I got with the bike I bought, there is a good 5 cm or so protruding above the tyre rim, this doesn't cause any problem and is obviously for use with bikes that have extended internal rims. as I say my advice is to use these with a good kevlar puncture resistant tyre, It's a combination that has saved me many a time

have always loved Slime tubes - used to suffer at least a puncture evry two weeks commuting into the city. Now, alongside reinforced tyres, punctures are very rare indeed.I definitely recommend self repair tubes to commuters - a little heavier but at least they will get you the distance and allow to you replace when it is more convenient. Simply removed the offending puncture items and re inflate - usually the repair will last a few weeks or longer

I cycle every day on a country bike path, so I always choose slime innertubes. I've pulled 2.5cm thorns out of my wheel in the past, there was a spurt of green slime and then I cycled on with no further drama. I just pumped up the tyre properly the next day. I use tyres that have Puncture Protection for even more peace of mind. You will find that the valve will eventually start to stick, but other than that I've had no issues with these.

I had 4 (four!) punctures in first 3 miles after fitting these tubes and each time simply rolling puncture to bottom of wheel enabled Slime to plug hole. Each time it worked in seconds. Had to re-inflate tyre after 3rd puncture. Rode for further 30 miles no problems, and have done over 250 miles since. Need to make sure that as soon as you are aware of puncture you roll tyre untill hole is at bottom and wait until air stops coming out.

I've used Slime inner tubes for years, and always found them to be excellent. Without them, I had numerous punctures, but I never worry about punctures when I'm using these. If you get a large thorn or similar in your tyre, you will notice and need to remove it, but the slime seals the hole immediately, and you'll have no problems getting home. The Slime Skabs are brilliant for fixing puntures too (separate product).

Use these in conjunction with Schwalbe marathon tyres for a 40 mile round trip to work (most days) down country lanes and farm tracks. Okay, belt and braces, not to mention a bit heavy but no punctures, at all, ever. Bought after having had to try to fix a puncture in complete darkness and heavy rain one night, which convinced me these inner tubes and the marathon tyres were worth every penny.

Used these in many bikes for me and my peers and I've never seen them fail under normal circumstances. However if you ride over a large piece of sharp metal near a building site that puts a 1" gash in your tire, don't ecpect anytire filler to save you

When you have a bike that is belt driven and the wheel is not easy to get off then this is a good buy. Easy to fit, a bit hard to inflate but more effort did the job. You don't notice the extra weight compared with an ordinary tube.

They might be heavy and they might make the tyres stiffer, but I don't notice either of those. What I do notice is that I've had no punctures in several thousand miles of use, so I'll happily take any downsides if they are real.

I have had seven punctures in one year and now have two months puncture free with these. They may make it harder to ride, but for a commuter like me this is not noticeable and they keep you riding.

A good long valve on these tubes, no problem getting a tracking pump to grip it. Better than some competitors.

Good product, well priced, ideal for trail and mountain bikes. Inflate only to 35 psi to avoid tube rupture
