We bought this for a trip abroad (3 separate flights to our final destination). Rather than taking a big bulky pram, we opted for this as it could be folded and stored away in overhead compartments, and hopefully it was less messing around.Folding it and unpacking can be done within a minute once you get used to it. It is a bit fiddly become some parts have to be detached. It's not an easy fold-down, but given the eventual space it takes up, it's worth the compromise.Whilst it's folded, you can also pull it via the handle. A word of warning on this though, the hood is dangerously close to the bottom and as we discovered the first time we did this, it easy drags and scrapes across the floor (or tarmac in our case),which can (and did) rip the hood. A bit of a design flaw there. The only other real gripe with it is when pulling it backwards, the steering doesn't react as it needs to.However, for everything else, it's brilliant. My son loves being in it, because it gives him an open view of the world along with some feeling that he's in control whilst holding the steering bars - when he grows up you can switch the trike so he steers, instead of us pushing from the back. And it has pedals which can eventually be attached so he can power it himself too.At £150, it is expensive, but I couldn't find anything else which offered everything this can, and considering prams are £500+, this was an easier choice to make in terms of making international travel easier.

I bought this as I was looking for something with sturdy wheels, but compact, for a camping trip, to take instead of our rickety pushchair (or bulky pram). I also wanted something that reclines as my son still takes his naps in his pram at home. This was the only trike I could find that seemed to offer everything I was looking for - including being something my son can use for years to come (he’s 19 months now).It arrived very quickly, and was really easy to put up following the photo instructions included. My son loved it from the first, and now insists on sitting in it at home!He has also had a couple of naps in it, and the recline function works really well. When the seat is swivelled to face the parent, the bag position can be changed to make a footrest, and my little boy is very comfy. I do agree with a previous reviewer, that the seat is a little smaller than I was expecting. But this probably makes it a more comfortable tricycle when it’s used for pedalling, and it must be comfy enough or my son wouldn’t have fallen asleep! It is best suited for tarmac, but it does work on rougher ground as well, and the wheels are certainly more robust than our pushchair. So far I haven’t had any of the problems with the handles slipping down that is mentioned in some reviews, and fingers crossed we won’t. I’ve also found the height of the handle bars perfect for me, though at 5’4” I’m not too tall.Looking forward to using it on our holiday!

We are going on holiday, and wanted a buggy of some description to go abroad with. However, I didn't want something that we would only get one or two uses from.I saw this advertised in one of those mother and baby magazines, and I was dreading finding out how much it cost... I was absolutely stunned to see the price! I was expecting it to be several hundred pounds more than it was!I like how this product has multiple conversion options, making it a useful investment up to age 4! I feel like I'm really getting my money's worth from the Smartrike! (I've had to carry a sleepy four year old relative while out and about, and I can't say my back was particularly impressed! However, most four year olds don't want to be pushed in a buggy like a baby - a tricycle with a handlebar on the back is much 'cooler'!)It folds up into a really small size, parable to a small suitcase; and after a few practice runs, it is fast to fold and unfold. (There is a QR code on the front label that can be scanned with a smartphone, which takes you to a YouTube video, in case you forget how to manipulate it while out and about). The zip up cover keeps everything together and contained for travelling; but for day-to-day use, I doubt I would bother with the cover.Overall, we are happy with the Smartrike, and hope it will grow with our daughter.

Great product, feels well made but slightly awkwardly designed. The fold up function is a bit more complicated than it needs to be. To be able to package up correctly you’ve gotta twist bits, fold bits, remove bits then flip over itself etc. Can make it look like you’re wrestling an octopus on the high street. That being said it’s a great little trike. Lots of options and variations to suit multiple applications. Should be able to get several decent years of use out of it. I thought it said there was a brake on this model, but there isn’t. Also the parent handle can slip back inside if you’re pushing hard up a hill etc. Could have done with a more positively engaging locking mechanism.Very minor concerns tho. Overall really happy with the purchase. Much better space saving idea for catering for tired little legs than lugging a push chair around. The little one seems to love riding it around too!

Amazing product!! Its so light weight and can be moved using one hand!! We are very impressed with it and the quality of it compared to other similar products. It arrived folded up, but there really wasnt much to set up yourself.A disadvantage to this product is that it is much harder moving the trike backwards (pulling) then pushing forwards, but because its so light weight its easy to pick up the trike and move it where you want it, or just push forward and do a u-turn.Our little girl loves it and lets the wind go through her fingres, and i love the fact the seat spins and she has a leg rest so she can recline - we have used it a few times and she has only fell a sleep in it once,i think she prefers the pram to sleep then the trike and when we go over bumpy grounds it seems like she feels them more, maybe when shes old she wont mind as much.

We brought for my 7 month old son, comfortable for him to fall asleep in. Thus version has a break! Many reviews complained of no breaks. Is a little tight some times, as there is no weight in the trike itself you sometimes need to pull up with hand rather than foot. Easy to fold, I picked this as we have a larger pushchair, so we can use when we need more space in the car. Handle stays in place when fully lifted, sometimes needs a foot in the wheel as you pull. Handle height suitable for me at 5ft2" and my husband who is 5ft11"

Great trike! Everyone loves it. I believe the manufacturers can make it easier to flip the brake (when in stroller mode) as it is very hard and I always have to bend down to release it when it is engaged. The bag velcros are not too strong and may go off after some time. i guess it is because when the seats are reversed, the bag serves as the baby foot rest and that might be some weight on it. The bag also could have been made bigger. Overall, I love the flexibility of the trike. It is worth the money.

This is a good little trike and more convenient than most, given it folds down. Like anything new, folding it up and down can seem tricky to begin with, but you very quickly get the hang of it.For those who say the handle doesn't stay up when you push it, I don't think you're fully extending the handle. When the handle is fully extended, there's a little silver pin that pops out meaning the handle cannot slide down. It's a nice trike and my son loves it, but maybe a tad expensive for what it is.

My 14 month old daughter is enjoying the Trike. It is light weight, compact, easy to put together and fold away. I like the way it offers many different positions and the storage bag is handy. We have used it for a walk in the woods but it’s better suited for a tarmac path. The steering was a bit tricky and I wish a rain cover had been included so we could use it on rainy days. Looking forward to her being able to peddle the trike soon

The best purchase we have made lately! Our baby son hated his stroller so I couldn't take him out easily. After some research we saw the trike online and thought we should give it a try. He absolutely loves it. He keeps pointing at it whenever he fancies a walk outside and is now eager to get on it and go out. Every baby is different, but for mine, the trike has been a 100% success and has made us all happier :)

I bought this for my 11 month old. And it’s brilliant! He loves riding around in it sitting upwards, let’s him see the world infront of him! It’s super easy to steer and light weight so I can easily fold it and take it in the boot of my car. It’s going to be our best friend in the summer when he can fully use it as a trike. Totally taking the place of my buggy, he prefers riding around in this guy!

I just love it and my son adores it. Is perfect quality for the price, easy to handle, I love it have a sleep position and foot rest. You can either make the child face you or he can face the direction you walk to.It comes with a nice big bag and a smaller one. Is very complex, luxurious and you couldn't have got better quality.Breaks are very strudy and handle easy to lock.

Great trike, easy to assemble! Lovely to push. Canopy has no back like other models which I was disappointed about. Over priced for what it is in my opinion

I am using it literally every day and I am pretty sure that it is a perfect choice for my toddler and me.No regrets only positive thoughts about it.

Very fast delivery and personally I like the trike design, but my baby doesn't like sit. And it seems like he loves to sit other cheaper trike.
