We bought these for our trip on the Great Allegheny Passage Sojourn this spring. We did about 125 miles over three days mostly on hard packed gravel from Meyersdale Pa to Pittsburgh. There was some "urban" areas approaching Pittsburgh with some rather rough pavement, however we had no problems or flats and had a really nice smooth ride. We used them on our road bikes - a Bianchi and Specialized Roubaix at 700 X 28 - they fit both bikes with no problems with clearance using stock rims ( Fulcrum racing sport and Specialized Axis 2.0). We also have used them for our general road riding this summer and found them to roll very well, to be honest we could not tell the difference from the stock tires on either bike,

These are excellent, supple riding and flat resitant tires for rough/unpaved roads. I wouldn't do too much gravel riding on the smallest tire sizes if you are a heavier and/or not so gentle roadie. Typical road bike wheels are not industructable and are built with minimal weight as a primary design consideration. I suspect that even these tires can only mitigate riding styles and terrain conditions only to a certain point. Howver, the tires themselves seem to have excellent quality and durability and their suppleness will add quite a bit of comfort to your bike rides.. The road feel that these tires provide will also add to the quality of the rides. Finally,

Have a pair of 28s on my wife's bike and on my road bike. A lot of people say that their width is off, but on my wife's rims (older EA90s, 17mm internal) they measure out to be 27.5mm. On my Hed Belgium Plus rims (20.6mm internal) they're 28.5. They may stretch a little more on mine.Ride quality is AMAZING for the price (32 bucks when I ordered). I was setting a lot of Strava PRs that I had previously set on 23c tires. They're just great.I haven't tried the knobby ones and don't intend to, so this review is only for the slicks.

Nice tire, feels more "cushy" compared to Rubino Pro III's I had on previously. Was able to mount the tires without lever's and they look pretty nice. Remains to be seen how long they last, I have a road race coming up that includes 12 miles of gravel and that will be my big test. Also a nasty midnight century with about 40 miles of gravel. These tires will certainly get a workout this year.

On a wide rim these measured closer to a 31. On a narrow rim they fit where I thought only a 25 would go. Can run it at 45 psi and have a comfy gravel ride or 90 psi for a snappy road ride. Pretty much my go to tire now. I prefer it over the continental 2000s and it is right there with the ruffy tuffys. Bonus points for only costing half as much.

Nice tire, weight as specified, but size (width) is a little smaller than stated, as typical for many tires. Not enough experience yet to judge life and puncture resistance.

Great tires for bad NYC roads. Nice damp ride, but don't feel slow.28mm tires fit on 56cm Cannondale SuperSix (not evo) rear with 2-3 mm space. Rims are 24mm RS11s.

I like these tires a lot. They are mounted on HED Ardennes wheels and the tires measure exactly 28mm wide.

If you haven't tried the Panaracers, they have a great road feel and last 3,000 miles of normal riding.

Great price for a great gravel tire. Not a cross tire but great for dirt roads.

Great tire, but it was extremely tight to get mounted. Maybe just my rims.
