It's a good replacement for my old cassette. The old one was rusty and also damaged from an elongated chain.After changing the cassette, I also changed my chain. Now my bicycle rides so smoothly and does not have those terrible sounds when pedalling.This cassette is for an 8 speed chain. Would go well with KMC 8 speed cycle chain X8.93 Bike chain 116 links, although there are cheaper and better chains.In order to remove your old cassette, you need a cassette lockring remover such as Cyclo CYC395 Pro Series Cassette Remover Shimano Hyperglide and a chainwhip such as Lifu - Amethy LF 53 A2 - Key of Cycling.In order to close the cassette, you need to turn the lockring using a wide adjustable wrench tool such as Am-Tech 2-in-1 Adjustable/

Lovely gears, and great quality. Annoying thing is that 2 weeks after I fitted them so horrible little scrote nicked the bike, and now he/she, (probably he), is riding around on a nicely serviced bike with brand new cassette...Quality and delivery were great though. Comes in original packaging and is clearly a proper OEM product.

I bought this to fit on my Tacx Flux trainer. It fits and works well. I should imagine that it would also be a good replacement for an old cassette on a road bike, but these parts rarely seem to wear out! This is a genuine Shimano component.

Great quality, comes in Shimano box packaging, 7 fitted rings cassette with the 11T cog seperate to offer options when fitting. very pleased with purchase (along with new chain) has improved my cycle significantly.

Great cassette if you're on a budget. Has the same ramps for easy shifting as more expensive models but with a little weight gain.Ideal for fitting to a winter or indoor training bike.

Works fine, easy to replace as long as you have the correct tool. (I mistakenly thought a freewheel removal tool was the same). It looks almost identical with same number of splines.

Product was delivered on time and easy to fit.The larger 1st cog makes hill climbing much easier due to the increased size acting more like a hyperdrive than a 1st gear.

I have you used this product for a long time with no problems at the moment and I will recommend it to anyone to buy if they are having problems with theirs cassette

Low end cassette that does what it should. Great replacement for a poor Halfords supplied cassette on a Carrera Crossfire Hybrid. Thoroughly recommend.

Good quality product at a reasonable price, used it as part of drive replacement for a friend's bike, fitted new chain and crankset as well.

Upgrading my anicient lightweight road bike to allow for my age and infirmity, this works a treat with a long cage derailleur.

Excellent upgrade - added a proper climbing gear to my daughters bike. Gives her a decent chance on the really steep stuff.

Direct replacement for a mountain bike. Easy to fit if you have the right tool. Doesn't make hills less steep.
