I bought this chain because my brand new bicycle came with all Shimano components except the chain was a KMC chain. Nothing wrong with KMC, but for some reason it didn't let the bike shift smoothly. Once installed, the bike shifted perfectly, the Shimano chain doesn't have a "master link" so you need a chain break tool to install and remove it.

Ok its a bit more expensive than others. I bought a clarkes 9 speed chain, and it sounded like it was going to grind down the cogs. So before I even rode the bike again I bought one of these. Defiantly worth the extra cost, now sounds silky smooth. Recommend it, just buy it..

The chain was what I expected. I understood replacing the chain and not the sprockets could be an issue and sure enough, after installing the new chain I had problems with the chain jumping off the sprockets. I replaced the rear cassette and everything works fine now.

Bought a Carrrera ebike from Halfords ( I know) bike wouldn't change gear proberly & chain come apart within a week.. I bought this chain & fitted, well transformed the ride bike changes gear now smoothly & there's less chain resistance.. Perfect!!

No problem with the assembly, needed to be shortened a bit but the fastening with the included chain is unproblematic. However, would have liked to have seen the chain delivered with an openable alternative, such as quick link or similar.

New chain added to my 13yr old Santa Cruz. Quality chain for the price, why buy cheap rubbish when you can buy a good quality chain for a couple of extra quid.Says it all when i can keep my 13yr old bike running well.Invest in quality.

A chain all that is more classic. It is supplied with a quick shaft for easy installation (a chain drift is required). The packaging is well made, the fast axis is in a small independent bag stapled to the large bag of the chain.

I've been using this Shimano chain for the past 9 months. No problems at all. It fits really good the Shimano 9 speed set - rear derailleur M530 (rapid rise), cassette HG50, front derailleur M530, and crankset M532.

As you would expect very high quality chain and well coated with lube. I used my chain link tool to join it up. BuT it doesn't come with the quick link so if you need one you will have to purchase this separately

The chain looks great. And the steel was hard at first. ... and all 116 links were there. - seriously: how should I rate a chain? In any case, the handling and delivery service was great.

Perfect! It's an exact replacement for the old chain. I haven't had a chance to get it on the single track yet but I don't expect any problems.

Best price vs. Delivery time on the internet.I needed a new chain to go with my new cassette - and wanted it fast. Amazon fitted the bill!

Use the necklace for my recumbent. The 2.70m is then assembled from three chains. I am very pleased. the value for money is right

This chain is for 9-speed cogsets. It works flawlessly, and is nice looking. Easy to install with a chain breaker tool.
