I have always bought Shimano reels for my fishing. I have just down sized my main reels to the New Aerlex xtc so I needed to down size my spod reels as I only now fish small syndicate lakes and gravel pits. The Shimano Aerlex 10000 was the perfect choice with its 3 distance line clips and new retrieve the same as the xtc. Qaulity through and through and would not swap it for any other reels on the market. Thanks again Shimano.

You will not find a more robust, workhorse of a reel. With smooth, straight ultra slow occilation the line lay is superb. A popular all black reel that will out perform reels 3 times the price. Hence the reason I got rid of a set of high end reels to use these.

Brought myself 2 of these reels and they are brilliant, as good as the Diawa emblem spod reel,Good retrieve rate and smooth casting,3 line clips to clip upto 3 different marks,Excellent reels

Excellent Value Spod reel ideal for purpose. Fast retrieve, tough as heck and looks brilliant on rod .Highly recommended reel and service from Bobcotackle as excellent as ever.

Not used the rod and reel combo yet , but have purchased Shimano tackle in the past so I expect they will be of excellent quality as the past shimano tackle have been before.

Fantastic real with some great features like 3 line clips on the spool. Just a shame it doesn't come with any spool reducers.

Only used it once on the bank so far but has performed well loads of cranking power to reel your spombs or spods in
