Unlike another Schwalbe tyre that I bought more recently, this one is sturdy as a horse. I have been using this for many months now, and have not had a single puncture (I used to at least once a month before this).The other Schwalbe that I bought was really bad (check my reviews to find it, and know not to buy that one!), so I bought anti-puncture lining tape. When I removed this tyre to install that, I counted _at least_ 30 new-pimple-like bulges in the insides of the tyre. These were thorns, nails, pins, glass etc. So, clearly this tyre has done it's job very well. PS: I had to use a plier to get all the pins etc out.After installing the anti-puncture tape thing,

While these tires are a bit hard to put on a rim brake compatible rim, if you have a disc specific rim they are no trouble at all.The tires are great, fast rolling with enough grip for loose gravel and dirt. Back when they were still called the Marathon Extreme (same tread pattern) I put close to eight thousand miles on a pair while fully loaded with touring gear. My bike, with gear, weighed in at 105 lbs and I'm about 180-200 depending on the time of year. I chose five star rating only because there wasn't six stars. This tire is every thing I was looking for. After an exaustive search for a tire that would keep up in an urban environments as well as off road trecking, trail riding, I decided to get these Mondials. Couldn,t be happier with the all around characteristics. Rolls well on pavement, as well as hard and loose packed dirt. Grippy on all surfaces, strong as heck, oh yeah..looks like a million bucks with the reflective pin stripe. Really cool agressive styling that compliments road as well as off road enthusiast.I would recomend these tires to anyone serious about dependability, grip looks and easy rollin.

These tires have replaced a set of Conti Travel Contacts that are about 6,000 miles old. Great performing tires, but I have had multiple flats towards the end of their life. The Mondials are bigger (26x2 compared to 26X1.75) but about 10-12% faster. They handle like a road tire (I use them mostly city/commuting), but have the stability in rough stuff (curb to gutter to pavement) that a road tire never would. If they are as good with punctures as advertised, they will be the finest tires yet on my Co-Motion Pangea. Time will tell.

As a 'Europe cyclist' you know how important good bicycle tires are. You know, with the Schwalbe Marathon Mondial tires, that they can handle a high load on paved and unpaved roads / paths. Stable driving in curves, also at higher speeds, with full pack, in a descent. It gives you a good feeling that you can rely on the quality and reliability of these tires. I can recommend them to everyone.

Отличная резина, красиво смотрится на велосипеде из-за отражающей полоски. Плюсы: вообще бесшумная, хороший накат, отличное сцепление с дорогой (асфальт, грунт), суперстойкая к проколам( колючки не могут проткнуть корд), светоотражающая полоса ярко светится. Минусы: заметил небольшое "рысканье" по колеям (между плиточным покрытием дороги.

Order / delivery went razz-fazz. I drive a Scott Sub 30 trekking bike, so far with the CX Comp and wanted an alternative. The Mondial is a top all-rounder, rolls very well on the road, in the forest it is well adjusted with front 5.0 and rear 5.5 bar. My expectation has been surpassed at this price. Mfg Jürgen

On my third set of these tires. I've averaged 5,000 miles on each set with very minimal flats, perhaps one every 2,000 miles. Unfortunately, the beads have been off on several of the tires giving it a slight wobble. Still, a great tire.

Fantastic tires! Roll resistance is low and grip is very good on wet or gravel surfaces. Not the lightest tire but it's durability makes up for it. A few hundred miles on them and no signs of wear at all! So far, worth the money.

Clearly it is one of the best wheels in the market. I have made more than 1000 km of travel with them without any puncture, despite being very loaded (about 130 kg counting my weight) and having done many of them outside tracks.

The only drawback is that they can not be bent, if you want to carry spare in the saddlebags on long trips better buy the Evo. But both the performance and the evo are great for both road and moderate trails

strong reliable tyre - this is my second set of marathons. The first set latest for around 2500-3000 miles of road use, but had a number of punctures in november and december, so got some new ones.

An optimum tire for everyday use and on the road: good running characteristics, high puncture resistance, comparatively low weight and also long-lasting: excellent price-performance ratio.

Pneumatic fantastic for a qualsevol terreny. Molt easy to muntar. Silences and fast on asphalt. Bona adherence in terrenys poccompacts. Molt content of the purchase.

The new tires gave renewed confidence to my old hard tail mountain bike. The tires were fast and grippy on gravel. Just love them - full marks.
