I've been riding on these tyres pretty much daily for about five months, and I love them. They are fast rolling (knocked a good few minutes off my 8 mile commute)and PROPERLY puncture-resistant. I have picked shards of glass, stone and metal out of these which would have just shredded my previous slicks. So far nothing has managed to get through the puncture protection layer. They are also nice and grippy, even in the wet, and the big air capacity means that they smooth out the bumps and give a more comfortable ride than most slicks.Did I mention that they look fantastic? Narrow slicks on an MTB style bike just look silly. These are big and fat, with subtle styling and reflective lettering. They look the Bees-knees.The only downside is that they are heavy. You'll feel yourself working a bit harder to accelerate, but then again, once you get up to speed it's easier to maintain, so the trade-off is well worthwhile. It should go without saying that these are slick tyres for use on the road. Don't expect them to work off-road. They can handle gravel or hard-pack to some extent, but if you ride them into mud, you WILL fall over.Just get some- you'll never look back.*edit* As of March 2014, I have now been riding on these tyres for over two years, and still no punctures. Not one. Surprisingly, they also look pretty much unworn- even the reflective chequerboard design is still intact. Having spent a few years as a London cycle courier, and still riding daily many years on, I have ridden on a lot of tyres, including quite a few slicks and these are the best I have ever used by miles. They are just fantastic value.

Bought a set for my homemade e-bike that's really only used on pavement in dry weather. I can't speak for how well they'll wear (I've only had them a short while) but after putting some miles on them, I've noticed the pavement grip is great and they really do have a much more confidence inspiring ride at speed than previous sets of tires I've tried (or been talked into by a bike shop salesman) and didn't care for. These Kojaks are smooth riding, grip well, and are quiet. Also, the reflective sidewall paint actually works, as opposed to another brand that alleged to have such a feature, but was really weak.I didn't do a truly scientific test of rolling resistance, but just eyeballing the wattage consumed by the motor in cruise at various speeds on my regular ride, it appears to require a bit less to maintain speed than my previous set of tires (Bontrager H5 Ultimates). So here's to a bit more battery range as well.

The tires are great for city riding, but buyers should note that it has virtually ZERO grip if there is mud.It was very easy to install, I finished the whole installation in about 20 minutes. The build of the tire is pretty solid. However the tire walls are very thin and offer very little protection on side impacts/ damages. However this is to be expected of a super light tire like this. The tire looks much slimmer than my previous Kenda small block 1.95x26 tires. I have kept the tire pressure at 55 psi, and it offers me a very comfortable ride in the city. The image provided here is not how the tires look, so don't go just by them.

Got these for my Voodoo Hoodoo for road as this new bike was meant to replace my Flat Bar Road Bike.Fitting was tight but no major issue. The look was weird at first coming down from a 26x2.25 knobbly but the look is quite good 'moto' type.First ride with 70psi in and the difference was unreal. Felt like the bike was gliding, even the steering is sharper! The Mountain Bike with these on is a very comfortable ride, much more than my Road Bike and not a massive amount slower. I can get some decent speed up and not worry if I want to come off-road or on path.My BadBoy Hybrid will shortly be up for sale.

I used to use Specialised Nimbus on my Cannondale Badboy Ultra which were good. I bought the Kojak's after reading the reviews on here and I can say they look better on the bike and perform much better. My ride takes me through the country lanes which are always littered with stones and glass. Theses tyres can take it all. I've not had any problems or punctures so far. The rolling resistance is much better than the Nimbus which gives greater speed. If anybody is looking for a commuter or general road use tyre you can't buy any better than the Kojak.

I bought this tire with the intention of using it for my cycle trainer since if you use a tire with any sort of tread on a cycle trainer, there tends to be a ton of noise. It was a great buy. Being able to use this tire at 70psi was also a plus for me. Looks funny having a slick tire on a MTB, but it works great off the trainer as well. Been down a few paths with it already and withstands rough pavement. I would definitely suggest this very versital tire for your cycle trainer without since it doesn't cycle trainer specific price.

I had two of these fitted to my new Brompton. I've been riding it daily for a year now and did actually get several punctures on my route to work, but always on the back wheel (when in the sitting position, it seems to take a majority of the weight distribution) They are super quick, but I've had to switch to a marathon Tyre on the back and I've kept one of these on the front. I know it sounds odd to have two different tyres on the bike, but this totally works for me. I'm going to buy another one of these for sure.

Have only put about 100 miles on them so far but love them. My bike came with good but not great Kenda tires. I was worried these would ride rougher but actually ride as good or better and are much faster. Still a little worried about wet conditions but they have been as advertised so far and say they are good in wet so we'll see. The reflective lettering is a great safety addition I will know more in a month or 2.

i live in a very rural area and find it difficult working nights to find adequate time to ride so I got an indoor trainer so I could ride whenever I wanted but found the knobby tires of my mtn bike too rough for the the trainer. this tire has stopped the rough ride and has allowed me to train indoors......at 3 in the morning when I am awake.

I used to mt.bike but I moved to the city and well no mts. I got sick of riding my bike on nobby tires only averaging about 10mph. I bought theses tires and put them on now I can easily average 14 mph for over 20 miles. I have over 300 miles on the tires and no flats I may use them for mt.bike races the best tirei have had.

Easy cornering, not so great on wet stuff. I ride in Phoenix so wets not a problem, glass and crappy roads are the problem. Not many miles on these yet as they are on a grocery getter, not the commuting bike.I would recommend these tires at this point if they fail to perform over time I'll revise my recommendation.

these tires are what ya need if you ride in the city. Replaced my old Bontrager Hanks with the Kojaks, these tires are grippy as all get out. perfect tires if ya like going fast and remain whisper quite. Very difficult to put on rims but well worth it.Made for speed demons!!

very good in dry condition. tested this on a 40 degrees heat (Philippine weather) & it doesn't feel sticky rolls very well. very comfortable at 55 - 50 psi. i rolled on broken bottles the other day, the ones w/ very nasty sharp edges. it just rolled over it & crushed it.

when your an urban rider, you don't need treads. a bigger tire + slick = bigger patch on th road.a fatter tire allows me to ride the streets of chicago on my 10 mile commute without having to swerve for every crack, groove and manhole cover to avoid snakebite flats.

Fitted a pair of these to my up geared mountain bike.Seriously fast rolling tyres.Nice thick strong rubber with good puncture resistance. They do grip well in the wet and the dry but if you see anything wet and shiny avoid it or end up on your ass like I did. lol.
