I bought a set of three grizzly bears for my friends little boy. He's mad for anything bear related and, at 3 years old, he's the right age now for Schleich figures. I particularly like the grizzly family. They're so well detailed and this one looks quite scarily realistic with its open mouthed snarl and sharp, white teeth. The figure is a good, chunky weight and sits solidly on four large, flat feet. These figures don't have movable joints which is a slight pain and means they're not so interactive but; right at the moment he's happy to use his imagination and doesn't seem too bothered by the lack of movement. The bear family has had a lot of wear and tear and still look like new.

nice and chunky with a roughish texture to imitate fur,some these schleich animals have a very tactile quality
