Firstly, this does appear to be a Genuine Samsung product. It holds the A5 2016 securely using transparent corner grips. All of the phones ports are available, including the sim tray. The inner side of the case is made of a soft brushed material, whilst the exterior is a typical pvc coating (sliver blue). Inside is a small pocket for holding a credit card or a folded note or two. The case includes a magnet which activates the phones lock screen, and shuts it down. The magnet does not secure the case. All in all, a decent product and probably worth the cost. It maintains the slim profile of the phone. I expect it to last with average usage.

Fits the A5 perfectly, as it should, being a Samsung product. No bulky / fiddly clasps to deal with, and it supports the screen coming on automatically when you open the case. The credit card slot is recessed slightly, so the card does not affect the screen when closed ... and there is a recess for the home button too.

I could not find protective covers with phone locking/unlocking feature for my older SAMSUNG phone Galaxy A5 (2016) locally.After looking in ebay, find this product, and it fits perfectly for my needs; delivery was fast. And the price is nice too.

Works perfectly with the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016)The magnetic open/close controls the device as it should.And the flap can be closed during calls as there is a hole at the top to let the sound through

Very pleased with this flip case . Certainly seems a genuine Samsung product. The sleep/awake feature works perfectly without an app. Only had it a week or so but looks like it should last well.

The item looks and feels quite nice. When ordering this item, note that A5 models differ in dimensions by each series (2016, 2017) and this cover fits only the 2016 version.

This is a very nice case, but my A5 Samsung sits loosely in it. I have used blutack to hold it in the case. For a fairly pricey case I would expect a better fit.

This cover has a real wow-factor and is very stylish, the only downside is that it scratches easily and the glossy look suffers with that.

Samsung made a good quality cases for phones. There is only one minus: the material is too thick.
