I bought this as I just got the phone, but on a longer contract than I’ve had before, so wanted to make an extra effort to keep it in good condition. I tend to find wallet cases a bit cheap looking, bulky and a bit impractical so usually opt for bumper covers, but did manage to get a couple of scratches on the screen of my last phone.This seems like a very happy compromise. Feels very good quality, and not the sort of faux-leather type coating that will peel and look tatty. It’s nice and slimline too, so seems to fit ok in my phone cradle in the car - one thing that always makes me give up on wallet cases.It’s a shame the magnet in it doesn’t keep it closed (assuming it’s a gentle magnet that makes it the screen come on and off?),

I knew what i was getting when i bought this case, so whatever it's shortcomings i do like it very much. There's no clip or magnet to keep it shut and it's very thin. The phone itself fits into a hard shell with cutouts in all the right places so its very easy to use. The 'gimmick' if you can call it that, which is really what sets this apart from other cases, is that it actually does turn on and off the phone when you open and close it. This is a good quality case albeit thin but don't expect it to totally protect your phone if you drop it. There are no rubber bumpers on the corners to cushion the blow. Having said all that, i'm still pleased i got it, as this is a classy case by Samsung.

Best feature is that the screen switches off on closing the flap and on again on opening it. It's plastic, of course, but not cheap plastic; and it's thin compared with other alternatives, which is good. Being plastic means it's easier to disinfect in these days of heightened biosecurity. I don't know yet how durable it will turn out to be; it seems sturdy enough, and you can buy cheaper but I don't regret the choice at all. The phone fits perfectly, as you might expect, and the plug-in sockets are not obstructed for the Samsung cables.

I ordered the offical Samsung cover for my new A50 mobile phone from Amazon as it was cheaper than from Samsung's own site from which my phone was ordered.It's a perfect fit ... looks stylish ... and I like the fact the screen comes to life opening up the case.Of course time will tell about durability of the case. I had one like this before on a Galaxy S4 which lasted about 3 years before falling apart.So far so good.

Recently bought a Samsung Galaxy A50 which in it's self is a great phone I needed a case as normal bought one on-line just cheap and nasty so I decided as I spent a lot on my phone it deserved the matching case okay much more expensive but worth it great fit looks good opens phone when opening case and closes phone when closing case very pleased with it and delivery was very fast less than 24 hours

This phone cover is perfect...it is strong, durable, looks good...I like the fact that it turns the phone screen off automatically when the cover is closed...it is a slim line cover that feels good and doesn't feel bulky in my pocket. It was relatively expensive..I bought a cheaper leather cover initially but it looked cheap and didn't close properly. I guess you get what you pay for....

I was unsure if this would protect my screen as it doesn't stay shut with anything it just kinda flips open but I've dropped my phone a few times since I had the case on and havnt had any scratches or cracks in the screen even when its landed face down and the case came open. Overall it's a nice case, isnt too bulky and does what it's meant to do

Arrived 3 days earlier than expected. The case is a perfect fit for my phone. I have the blue model and the lining of the case is a perfect match, I have to agree with a previous review that the outer is a dark navy rather than black. The case is not bulky and fits well with a tempered glass protector in place. Well worth the money.

A genuine Samsung A50 case listed as black which is why I was reluctant to order because I've had the blue Samsung A50 mobile. I was pleasantly surprised to find the case looks more blue than black and the lining is a lovely pale blue almost identical to the colour of the mobile. Perfect fit, great quality. Highly recommended.

The Samsung cover is very smart and increases the overall weight by only 50 grams. Dimensions are increased by minimal amounts. It also auto powers the phone on opening it. I am very pleased with it, compared with a cheaper cover which I had tried earlier. Pity Amazon delivered it to the wrong address but I got it eventually!

Sturdy quality product.A50 snug, good fit.Like this Samsung original case, the entire phone is protected and it turns the phone off when you close the case/cover.Only minus minor is ... it covers the back of the phone so you can see the snazzy plastic+glass coloured back.Samsung could you make a clear case ???

This cover looks and is very sturdy. A device fits perfectly but at the same time if you need to take it off it is not complicated. It is more expensive (subjective matter) but it is definitively worth having. Remember, you get what you paid for. I am very happy with this product and if needed I will buy it again.

Product used to obviously protect phone. Only criticism was the white cover marks easily and would have liked a much better colour choice. We ladies like to see our phone in our handbags so black not an option. Loved the classy gold cover on my last Samsung phone. Please give better choices.

After having used many 3rd party cases with previous phones, That tear rip and just fall apart, i decided this time i would buy an official case, The build quality of the case is 2nd to none, its samsung quality, lesson here kids buy cheap buy twice, just stick to the offcial cases.

This was purchased as a replacement for a rear cover (described as a case). This fits well and has a flap over cover to protect and turn off the screen. Don't bother with the cover recommend to purchase with the A50, the Samsung is far superior.
