Yes, it is Samsonite, which dictates the quality that one gets, and it gets 4 stars for quality of materials and the design in a sense of spaciousness. However, I need to stress a couple of issues with it, that others should take into account:(1) unlike previous models, this one has a PC or something front pocket, which detracts and takes space in the top cover that one normally puts clothes into.(2) The biggest problem though, especially if you live in big cities, and have to take this suitcase onto public transport and elevators, it DOES NOT MOVE SIDEWAYS at all! So the maneouverability is severely, severely, limited.So please be aware of these two key disadvantages if you travel a lot and want to be able to move fast in crowded places.

Fantastic product as expected from Samsonite. I got it to replace my old trusty Samsonite that got damaged beyond repair (not Samsonite's fault). It was only fair I get another one from them, trouble is most of the hand luggage sets are a tad smaller than they used to be 15 years ago so I had doubts whether it will work as well. This model seemed the biggest out of those that are compatible with most European airlines and I'm happy to report that it really is big inside. I was able to pack for a 7 day business trip and I didn't even have to expand it. Added lock is a nice touch - I it utilised as an additional safe while at the hotel.

It wasn't a cheap suitcase in the grand scheme of things, but I travel a lot for my job so my luggage has to be robust. However, so far it looks everything it promised to be. Of course, the real test will be its use over time. (If I don't amend this at some future point, you can take it that everything is okay.)My only gripe is the complete lack of information as to the lock mechanism. I mean seriously! I had to look it all up on the internet. Something like this should ABSOLUTELY come with a small leaflet with that basic information.I hope Samsonite reads this.

Love samsonite cases. This is my second one of these. I broke the pulling handle by accident and reluctantly had to retire a case that in all other ways looked brand new after 2 years of use (approx 92 flights as hand luggage) could do with strengthening the pull handle to avoid this mishap. Complies with all airlines hand luggage policies and can expand if you've got a bit extra on occasion. Great balance when full and stood up, unless you overload it with a large heavy laptop bag on the top like I did with my previous one!

I looked at a range of different carry-on roller bags, and this met all my needs for frequent travel: two wheels (I've seen too many spinners on the baggage carusel missing a wheel: they are so exposed, it's clear eventually one will be lost); lightweight; with outside, handy pockets; expandable in case of use in the hold. This had it all. With 50% off the full price it was only 20 - 30 gbp above other similar cases, and I know I now wont have to think about purchasing another for a few years.

I bought this as I was doing quite a few long distance 2 week holidays. This case is perfect and the attention to detail is great. Especially the seperate areas for toiletries and dirty clothes. Lots of different pockets and expands nicely too. The lock system is also really cool alloying you to lock most of the compartments. One last thing it moves so smoothly no noise at all from the wheels.

One of the best purchases I have ever made. I love it. Not cheap, but with steep price come a plethora of functionality. Quality materials, doesn't look or feel flimsy. The lock-all zippers cable and lock is awesome. Many pockets for small things, wet pocket, additional small bag, elastic straps, etc, you won;t be disappointed. It even looks good. Highly recommended.

I love this suitcase! It’s so roomy, without feeling huge. The front pocket easily takes my 15” laptop and A4 notebook, and can be locked. (All pockets lock)The handle is smooth and the case is easily manoeuvrable.I’ve had a range of cheaper suitcases over the years, as a regular traveller for work. Madness - I should just have got one of these!

Great product. I have had the X blade before but this version is much better. It stands up without falling over, the straps inside are more versatile and the handles are much sturdier. The best part about this bag is that you get maximum volume by not having 4 wheels. The expandable part is great too!

In hindsight I should have got a spinner. The bag is sturdy and has ample storage for a short business or leisure trip without the need for a checked bag. Can be difficult to manoeuvre. The lock stopped working after a couple of weeks. I may buy a spinner ;-)

Had the smaller version of this bag and it's been great, wheels run smooth and do not wear out. I travel a lot on business so my cases get a good bashing and this one stands up to the challenge just like it's smaller version.

The size, the wheels and the materials are of good quality. The price is a bit inflated. Since it only has two wheels, they used the rest of space handsomely. So you have more luggage space inside now.

I bought this Samsonite suitcase in February for my trip to Japan recently. It's light for its size, and easy to manouevre.Samsonite is always my favourite all time. Yes, it's highly recommend it.

Excellent quality, it also has the expension section just in case you buy something on your trip and also the wire for locking all the zips. Plus a waterproof pocket inside.

Love it. Great expansion and fits a lot in. I use it as hand luggage and checked luggage when I need that little bit more space. Good materials and build quality
