Have used this thing about 20 times for traveling (flights and trains) for more than a month. (And another similar case from Samsonite for over a year.)Pros:- Rolls almost effortlessly on 4 wheels! - I love that! :)- Strong enough to sit on, although does bend a bit. But I do it all the time when I'm waiting at train stations and airports.- Wheels so strong I have jumped on it and rolled on it like a bike. (This is probably dangerous, I don't recommend you do it.)- Has a rubber seal around the opening so it's dust and water resistant to some degree.- Got slightly deformed on one of the flights from the weight of things that were on it. I opened the case, pushed it back into shape and then after the taxi ride home it regained it's shape and was good as new.- Great price for what you get.- very lightweight for the size and strength. I use this to carry filmmaking equipment like tripods and lights.- I tried to break the handle but couldn't. It managed to hold up the case with 35kg inside it just from the one handle. It just bends a little bit but then goes back into shape. I will be adding a few more screws or glue because I carry very heavy loads, but it should be fine without mods for regular use.- Three strong latches: One on each side with mini safety latches to prevent accidental opening, one in the middle with a combination lock (I don't like key locks) and a VERY long hinge at the back.- Latches instead of zips! This is a must for me.-Surface very resistant to dirt and scratching, which also means it won't hold most stickers very long. This was never a problem with airline stickers but my own decorative decals fell right off after one or two flights. Not a big issue.CONS:- No internal compartments. there is a mesh separator in the middle, I will sew or glue another piece of mesh onto that to make a compartment for small items, it's really needed in my opinion. Not as rigid as my last Samsonite but still strong, and it's 2kg lighter so I'm not surprised, the flexibility prevents it from breaking. (I spent ages trying to find what model my old one was but I have no idea.)- TSA locks. I'm not sure I get the point of these, if everyone can open it, how is it a lock? - Then again, I was told at an airport I wasn't allowed to lock it, then I said, "don't worry it's a TSA lock" and they were all like, "Oh, well that's fine.." lol. Better than nothing i guess. The only case I would want more than this is Samsonite's higher cost units, but they are way out of my budget.

Great case. I've used it twice now (one euro flight, one to the US) and its held up really well. The case has scratched (nothing I didn't expect), but I know its not gonna crack, its solid and it should last me for a long time. Nothing inside has been damaged and wheels are still perfect and roll smoothly.Clips over zips any day. They are robust and lock individually. The big center one has a 3 digit lock code and is TSA approved, so no worries about locks being chopped off in airports, yet no worries about security either. They are very reminiscent of the locks from my dads 25 year old Samsonite ago which have been on countless flights and have never broken. No worries on the case bursting open unlike a zipper case.My only complaints is that there is no inner lining (no problem as there's no sharp edges), the wheels intrude into the inside of the case taking up some space (but its good knowing they've been attached properly and more than glue), and the top only has the one handle (the pulling handle is also the lifting handle) and its not centred which makes lifting a heavy case a tad more difficult as the center of gravity makes it tilt, but nothing dealbraking. All in all, top case for the money. Would certainly recommended it to anyone looking to invest in a decent case to last.

Awesome simple single shell hardcase, with no lining. It's minimalist, the case may feel overly light at first, but the shell plastic is of excellent quality. Pros for us include a 2 wheeled upright style. This means reduced ultimate height due to recessed wheels and no fully exposed spinners, which may ( or may not) be broken off more easily than the recessed two wheels. Further pro includes the very spacious interior on the XL model which swallows and swallows. Another is the 3 clasp locking system with a central TSA lock, so no zipper to break. No breaks to any of the locks on this model so far. Another semi pro is the fact there is no lining of the interior. This is welcomed by us,as this means there is no lining to rip or dirty. The interior is easy to clean as a result. There is a single net divider and a zipped pouch, but there sometimes are more of a hindrance for us personally.Oh, and the electric blue colour is brilliant. So easy to spot across an airport. We've travelled all over the world with this, and the only limitation is the fully loaded weight, which restricts things to a minor degree of walking for long periods. Otherwise, it performs as one would expect a Samsonite to perform.

I have a bigger samsonite hard case, I got this for a recent holiday and it was great. I love the hard cases because they are more secure and nothing gets crushed, also you can sit on the top when waiting in queues, they are easy to just roll along on the wheels which makes travel so easy. This is a bit more budget than my bigger one which is a slightly more expensive type. For example, the top lid on my other case has straps to hold your clothes tight and mesh that zips closed (it also has various pockets around the side, a trouser bag, shoe bag that this case does not have), this case just has mesh that clips in 2 places so no zip and no straps. It does not bother me because I now use the amazon organiser packs (cannot remember the name) which are great. However if you like the old fashioned way of packing you may prefer the straps for both parts of the case rather than just for the main big compartment. Otherwise, it is the usual good quality samsonite hard case.

Samsonite are good quality cases. We have used a couple of larger ones for years with no problem, even though the outsides show a little wear, but what can you expect when the baggage handlers throw them about? We had a cheaper make small case for short holidays, but on the return journey last time it got smashed on a corner, so no hesitation, it had to be a Samsonite, and this size will replace fine. I prefer the 2 wheel version as I pull anyway (not push) and don't like the look of the 'spinner' versions as the wheels look vulnerable to breakage. Not used it yet, but everything about it seems good and strong, so sure it will be fine. One problem, when the first case arrived, it was 'pushed in'on the lid, they are only packed in a thin box which must have been stacked on, so had to return. The replacement was fine and as usual, Amazon customer care was perfect.

Elza, por favor manda o email abaixo pela sua conta do Amazon, sabe quando faz a reclamacao pelo order? Ta na garantia de um ano ainda nao ta?Manda e ve o que eles falam.Dear Sir/Madam,I have bought a Samsonite suitcase in June this year which I have only used it once to travel and it has broken in the first use. The handle is broken and whenever the suitcase is full and I pick it up, the handle opens by itself. I am very disappointed because this is my first Samsonite suitcase and I only bought it after some very positive comments about Samsonite from my friends. I also found that it scratched very easily. As you can see in the attached photos,it does not look like a suitcase that has only been used once because of all the marks and scratches on it.Can you please guide me in the process of getting it repaired or exchanged? Thanks,Sandra

I don't think you can beat Samsonite suitcases anywhere. My last one I bought about 18 years ago is still going strong and as good as ever, despite being around the world at least 7 times in that period. It's brilliant. This one is for my wife and is much easier to use as it is built to the same rugged structure (no zips) as my original, but much lighter and easier for her to use as it has 4 wheels and just glides along. The name for this is a bit naff, I'm not quite sure who they are aiming it at, but for people who want their case to arrive in one piece each time they travel and have years of reliable use from a case, no matter how much they throw it around in the airports, then this will take some beating. We love the Samsonite brand and as with everything in life, you get what you pay for.

This suitcase has traveled the world with me and has done an amazing job! It has three latches on the top, side and bottom which all have locking mechanisms and a combination code on side. Having no zips makes this a much tougher and more secure case which really pays off for frequent travelers. As for the inside you have two deep set areas to store items. The lid interior has a mesh guard that allows you to pack clothes and light items leaving the base for bulky goods like shoes and coats. You have a surprisingly large amount of volume inside to use and normally it's only airline weight limit that will only hold you back. The last thing to note is that this case will show scratches and wear as its hard bodied but this is mainly due to the way its handled at the airport.

I ordered this some time ago when I was informed that the particular airline I was to use would only allow one bage up to 30 Kg and so for a longish holiday my current suitcases would have been too small. After ordering I was advised that it would be delivered in about 3 weeks. That would have meant I was away on another trip. I asked whether this could be delivered sooner and to my utter surprise it arrived two days later - from Germany! The case is ideal, strong and without zipped closure. The only minor concern is that one of the internal clasps on the separating flap seemed to be a little awkward to secure. Time will tell but I would not consider this a major problem. The price was far less than advertised in any other shop or outlet I sought.

I previously had a very lightweight suitcase which didn't stand up to international travel. This case is very high quality. The hard shell and clips provide great protection as well as the integrated combination lock. The catches also have an integrated locking switch to ensure they don't pop open and get snagged. A nice detail. The handles are robust and collapse on the outer side of the case so as not to take up room on the inside. Everything is as flush as possible ensuring the baggage handlers will find a job of breaking the thing.I was a little shocked at the size of it however. Even though I was confident of the dimensions on ordering, it is a beast!

I've been using this case for nearly 2 years now and it has been some places.Apart from some scratches from looks like a hard hit at the baggage handlers the case is perfect. The case is hard but the top is a little soft and will compress when under load, that isn't an issue though. I've had bottles of gin in it from London to Manila, the case went through 2 transfers and the bottle was fine although the case picked up some new scars. The zipless fastening is good, protects from the known issues of people opening zips to stick stuff in your case and also feels more secure. The wheels are still very good and roll effortlessly after a lot of abuse.

I was tired of broken wheels, broken handles, tears, broken zips, etc. with my previous suitcases. So, I decided to buy 2 of them for a 3-week trip in South and Latin America. The suitcases only had scratches after half a dozen of flights. Nothing was broken, these suitcases are very sturdy. And with some polish it looks clean again (you cannot hide the scratches, but it still looks nice and clean). They are also very convenient to fill and to carry. Since they do not have zip, they are more secure than regular ones, which is sadly an important thing when travelling in Latin America. I am very pleased with this purchase.

ok so this is Samsonite's budget range so it's relatively bare inside but that just gives more space for your holiday stuff. It is a hard shell case but there is some give in the walls - not that you'd easily overfill the case - it's huge! This is easily the largest suitcase I own and so was extremely useful when we travelled for a family holiday with seemingly every item of clothing we owned as a family! The lock is TSA approved so if you're travelling to the USA then there will be no problems and the four wheels makes it superbly easy to wheel through the airport.I would completely recommend this suitcase.

I actually bought this for my dad as I myself travel with bags, not suitcases. He absolutely loved thisOne and has already travelled with it twice. It's sturdier than most new lightweight hard shell models and finally a model without zipper. Zippers can be opened by poking a scissor into them, after which it can simply be closed up again. All of this in seconds. (Airlines show these tricks to their employees). This suitcase comes with 2 lockable side flaps and the main flap. The wheels are very smooth and the telescope handle is long and sturdy too. All in all, this is a fantastic suitcase at a great price

Not so light weight, lots of room. Great locking mechanism and really sturdy.Could use a better internal design.Updated review, honestly 2 years later and this was possibly the best luggage case I ever bought.I got packing cubes to organize the internal side of things. It's extremely durable and has survived several long haul flights both the out and return travel.Even to a couple of countries where they really toss your luggage ??I could not be happier, while not the most beautiful case in the world. It is definitely up in the top category for durability.
