This is a proper woven tape which has proper tape sections for inserting the curtain hooks - not just string. The tape is material - it is not woven plastic. I did not use any stiffening behind this for my curtains which are medium weight floor to ceiling. It has done the job very nicely.

Easy to sew, doesn’t slide around and it’s got pockets for the curtain hook to go into instead of threads. So I hope they don’t stretch. Also prompt delivery.

This pencil pleat heading tape is really good, I like the pockets for the hooks they are a lot better than the string ones, I would recommend using this
