These were apparently around in the 60's but I am not that old and in fact first saw them at Butlins in the soft play last year, our kids collected as many as they could up and bounced around on them so we got them one each for Christmas. They haven't used them as often as I'd hoped so far but truth is we have limited space in the house and are sorting the garden ready for the summer so I expect that to change when we can go outdoors. That said they are quality, Italian made I believe and they seem like they'd be very difficult to puncture. Blowing up with a bike pump and the included attachment was easy too. They just seem like one of those toys that will be memorable to the kids, that remains to be seen with all the electronics nowadays but fitness and keeping them active has many benefits IMO

This product caused a whole day of arguments! Well, one argument that went on and on and on all day. My sister calls it "Roddy", but it's spelt "Rody". My assumption is it's short for 'rodeo', so Rody the Rodeo Horse makes complete sense, but she wouldn't stop flippin' calling it "Roddy". I don't normally get angry but I was determined to correct her, even if it would take all day...and it bloomin' did.Anyway, my little Nephew was blissfully unaware of the goings on between his Mum and Uncle and absolutely loves the inflatable horse toy.His Mum still calls it "Roddy" though!I could be wrong. Regardless of how it is actually pronounced,it's a great toy and my nephew thinks his Uncle is great for buying it for him.

We bought Rody for my son at Christmas (he was nearly two at that time) and he LOVES it! It's very well made with high-quality materials - as demonstrated by how well it has stood up to immense rough and tumble from my son and his friends. Poor old Rody! But he still looks as good as new. (The only slightly off-putting thing about Rody is that the hole for inflating him is in a very unfortunate place, so led to some hilarity among the adults as we pumped him up the first time!!)

My son loves Rody, he was riding this fella before he could crawl and now he's more mobile he really puts Rody through his paces. Simple and well made, it will provide kids with hours of fun( even my nephew who's 4 plays with it when he comes over). Cheaper and in my opinion better then them freaky old rocking horses. Beware of the polymer based dizzy/high you get when you blow it up by mouth and yes they put the airhole in Rodys bum so be prepared for some laughs.

Bought for my 10 month olds first Christmas.Used in my ‘baby sensory’ class so I knew it was a good development toy for my babyand he seems to enjoy it. Didn’t bother with the pump- just used a bike pump and it hasn’t needed re-pumping after use. There are cheaper alternatives which probably would’ve done the job just as well- but I went for this for it’s bpa-free etc status. It seems good quality so I’m Reasonableyconfident it will last him a few years

Some reviewers have said this was hard to inflate but I had no problem (I used an electric pump we use for paddling pools etc) as it comes with the right adaptor. Our little girl loves it and I reckon its good for her balance and coordination as well as being fun. Bit pongy when first out of the box but nothing a quick wipe clean didn't solve and has provoked much bouncing and laughter. Works well to tire the wee one out before bed too.

My toddler loves this. I ordered red through Amazon and revived red. No ordering issues that others have mentioned.Easy to inflate. I used a footpump I purchased at thd same time. I didn't think a bike pump would be suitable. A bike pump adapter came with Rody but I wasn't to know. The booklet tells you the maximum size of Rody when inflated but its easy enough not to over do it. Just make sure his 'ears' and 'tail' are squishy.

daughter got this with the rocker base for her first birthday, she wasn't sure of it at first but has grown to love it, as she has been able to climb on and off independently. when she is older the base can come off and she can hop around on it, I am sure we will have many years of enjoyment out of this little horse, pleased with purchase but wasn't cheep and neither was the base (sold individually)

Our little ones are, well, little. So with short legs this is the perfect size for them to still reach the floor whereas a lot of these kinds of things were too high - just as fun now the toddlers are taller. This is a very solid product and doesn't bend or tip over easily unlike some other happy type inflatables we've tried out. Had it a year, and still excellent condition, great quality.

Quite expensive but son loves it so I'm happy, getting my money's worth of playtime. Easier for baby/toddler to bounce on than round hoppers. Never seem to get it 100% blown up, maybe it's my technique, but disappointingly seems to deflate a little in the transition from air pump to insertion of stopper. Robust - had it over a year now and (touch wood) no punctures or issues yet.

Like the other review I had no problem inflating Rody and just used a small bicycle pump. I did have to give it a wash but that took 30 seconds. I bought it for my little one as they have one at the babysensory class. It says from 3 years but they find enjoyment with it from younger as the babysensory group is from 0-13 months. Rody is a welcome addition to our home.

Absolutely beautiful product! Very good quality toy. We learned about this toy in the sensory class and they have been using it for years. Made to last. And it’s really good that you can pack it flat in storage when you don’t need it or for moving. Takes very little space. I would pay more money for this. Good value for money. Any child will love this toy.

I bought this Rody for my Nephew, it arrived before the delivery date. it is exactly as described, good quality, has provided lots of fun already. There is no pump with the Rody, so to avoid a disappointed child, it would be helpful to order one at the same time. I've already recommended it to my friends.

Really love our Rody, my little boy is only 5 months old but he loves it. They have one at baby sensory which he loves so I knew it would be one of his favourites and something that will last for a few years. Very well made. There was a strong smell but that soon went after a wipe.

I bought this after my daughter enjoyed using the same item at the physiotherapists. It was suggested she use it to strengthen her muscles as she has hypermobility. Fantastic purchase, sturdy, my toddler has lots of fun using it. Highly recommended
