Other fantastic resurrections include care bears, love hearts and most recently of all the Wispa bar, however the coolest and most iconic of them all is the space hopper! Ungainly? - yes, it can be at times! Elegent? - most certainly not! Cool? - hell yeah!My space hopper hasn't had a single moments rest since it has arrived! I've bounced all round the house and the garden, receiving a few odd looks from neighbours and a little disturbing for my black labrador who felt it necessary to bark at it all night when I first blew it up!That reminds me! A pump that can both inflate and deflate adds to ease of use and means that it can easily be stored away - not that you want to put it down for onesecond.Go ahead and unleash your inner child!

I bought 2 of these, one for me and one for a moving in present for my friend. It has to be one of the best thing I have ever bought. I'm 19 and so am a pretty good age to be playing on this and I have managed to convert most of my friends and hopefully they will all buy one too.I just like to bounce around the house and it also just gives somewhere novel for my friends to sit when they come round to my house. It is just a great product. I'm quite a big guy too and it is still big enough for me to play on, so no need for me to be worried that i'm going to break it.A definite buy!! Get a few if you can so friends and/or family can all play on them together!

With four boys between 21 and 14 Christmas presents which hit all the right spots are rare. Four of these bouncy hoppers meant that Christmas burnt off more calories having fun than the calories we had for the Christmas meal. The hoppers just about fit through the doors in our house where they made their debut but they were at their best outside on the street. Not quite extreme sports but the heights reached on the bounce were dangerous enough to keep them entertained. The hoppers passed street credibility ratings when one of the boys invited friends (male and female) over and had them enjoying the experience as well. They are well worth the price.

Above everything, I have to say that I've been so impressed by this company. The first product we received was slightly faulty but when I notified the seller they could not have been more apologetic and helpful agreeing to send us another immediately (and giving a freepost address for me to return the initial damaged item). My younger daughter has had a small space hopper for some time so now she's enjoying having races around the garden with her 13 year sister who loves this space hopper! It's a fantastic toy which is also great exercise - and watching them brings back great memories of my childhood too! Thank you. JB

You know how you re-visit a certain sweet or drink that you remember from childhood and it tastes nothing like how you remembered it? Well, I remember when these first came out and I so wanted one of my own. Now I have been able to buy a couple of these for my own kids and they are just as I remember them. A really good size (big & strong enough for the adults to play on when they aren't watching), not these tiny little footballs that seem all too common at the moment. Really sturdy, I think they will be able to take a good kid beating and still last a good long while for them to enjoy.

This throwback makes you smile when you look at it, never mind when you bounce on it! It is big enough for an adult, so is going to be too big for a small child (say under 8). The footpump that comes with it is a little tricky to connect and slowly gets the hopper up to size. Once up, it has been staying inflated well. The price is very competitive (compare Argos - good grief!) so I wouldn't hesitate to get one if you want to give a really cheerful present to anyone aged about 8 to infinity who hasn't lost all their bounce. The educational value is zilch, the fun value is wonderful.

This space hopper is fab! I don't know who is getting the most fun from it - my nearly 5 year old neice or my 42 year old sister. Came in a sturdy box with its own pump and it took me all of 10 minutes to pump it up on Christmas day. The retro style took the oldies back and my neice mastered it straight away although her feet don't quite touch the ground if she is sat on top - easily rectified - alter sitting position! I put 5 for its educational value - not sure if this is true but hey, who cares about educational value - it's a toy! Could say it's an historical artefact at a push.

Right size for grown up kids. Takes ages to blow up and the enclosed foot/hand pump i utterly useless. Lack sufficient volume and the tube keeps coming off the pump. Fortunately I already had a battery pump, but still too ages.If you get it wrong and need to take the plug out again to adjust air content, its quite difficult to do - but at least this means the plug wont come out when bouncing.Think about where you want to store you hopper - as pumping it up is such a pain, I have decided to keep mine inflated, so it takes up space.GREAT FUN though and fabulous cardio exercise!

Firstly, this is a BIG spacehopper. Very big.Our 8 year old daughter cannot sit on it and use it as a spacehopper should be but it ideally suits teenagers/ adults and has given hours of fun. Comes with a basic and rather cheap looking plastic foot bellows style air pump but which inflates the hopper in a reasonable amount of time. Hopper has withstood a lot of use with no sign of wear and has not required inflation in 2 weeks.Biggest problem is storage but if you have room , can't fault it for teenagers/ adults.

I purchased this along with the Wild Wolf Ridley's giant bouncer so I could have adults v kids space hopper races although Amazon says this is suitable for 3yrs, the box says 10yrs +. It would be too big for the smaller kids to get on. The hopper is well presented and I was also quite impressed by how easy it was to inflate using the tiny foot pump supplied.I got this for a garden party and hardly anybody could resist having a sit on!In the end, it's a Space Hopper! You get on it and bounce and have fun.

Thought this was a bit expensive when I ordered it if I'm honest but given they seemed to be like gold dust at the time to get hold of thought would get a couple and give them a go. Was also a bit concerned about it holding my weight as I'm a big girl but have no problems at all! The included pump is brilliant, inflates and deflates, and it blows up very easily. My friend and I have had hours of fun on these with the kids. Would definitely recommend (though it's more hard work than when I was a kid!!).

My children loved spacehoppers in the 70's and 80's and I got this one for my 7 year old granddaughter. It is extremely robust and traditional in colour and design; it also very large. As my granddaughter is very tall (4'5") for her age she could manage it well, but I think it really suits 8 and up. One spacehopper isn't enough as the children like to have races. I got a smaller one elsewhere for my 4 year old grandson. I would say this toy is fun rather than educational and also excellent exercise.

Space hoppers are a great thing. These ones were fantastic. You can pomp them up a bit more or a bit less to adjust to the size. They were very robust as well. We took them to the festival where they got stolen by the crowd. The kept kicking it like a ball. One of them eventually split but the other still kept on going when we were leaving. Everyone from our group kept on remarking what a good quality they were (that was the only positive side we could see from them being stolen).

bought as a birthday gift and it went down well - sturdy enough. probably not 100% like the ones us old fogies used to play on in the 70's but then they were probably made of highly toxic, illegal substances which meant they lasted and you could bounce higher than a house if you wanted, because if you fell off and broke your leg you got laughed at and learnt the hard way not to do it again as opposed to trying to blame everyone else but yourself for not being careful.

This item was purchased for my wife who has seen more than 50 summers. Coming with an inflator the spacehopper was quickly in action with my wife making excuses for why she was not travelling very far on it. We purchased 2 so that our adult daughter could also join in the fun. Daftest thing I have seen in ages and well worth the money. The product is well made and packaged and ideal for those who have a hankering to recapture their youth!
