Classic football shoe for artificial pitches. A must for anyone with wide feet or high arches. I wear 3/4 length arch supports and these are the only shoes I could find which allow a comfortable fit and playing experience. They are not the quickest of shoes and have a wide sole and fairly rigid sides so suit a more measured and considered style of play. I can still run around quite happily in them and the sides are a good soft leather which allows for movement of the foot and takes the pressure off the little toes. Highly recommended if any of the above is important to you.

I ordered size 9.5 as well, having seen feedback advice that you need a half size more than your usual shoe size (mine being 9). The size 9 were very tight, would never have given enough to feel right. The 9.5 pair fitted well. (This was wearing my relatively thin new footie socks.)They have felt really comfy from the first game (on parched grass), with good support which I need having gone over on both ankles of late and having a fallen arch. I need generous width as well, which these give. The leather is thick and supple. I am glad I paid the extra for the quality.

My first pair lost a tongue after about 6 years or so. And then 4 years later, the toe area busted open after being caught in a sandwich tackle against two opponents (my foot was the filling lol). Happy to see it was still available when I googled it so bought exactly the same pair. Love the fit. Very comfortable for my Size 13 feet (not narrow at all). Hopefully my new pair would last 15-20 years - I have cut down on the hard tackling -*getting too slow to catch up with nippy young attackers*

I used to always buy Nike Air because they had a wider fitting, however, they changed to a narrower fit. Puma Kings are great for wider feet. I'm a size 10, however, the ones that I received felt more like size 11's and I had to put insoles in. Even then they never felt tight enough. This is the downside of on-line ordering - you can't try before you buy. Just make sure you can easily return them. I will be buying another pair in future (i'll probably order a 9.5).

Best astro shoe I have played in over the years. i have had 5 pairs. very good fitting, quilted and cushioned instep and toes for passing, striking and griping the ball (to spin and curl). good ankle support and heel cushion. only use on astro - like any shoe, sole has good cleats and grip. Be warned soles do wear down quicker if you use as fashion shoe or indoor football or not exclusively on astro turf.

I needed a wider fit trainer for astro turf walking football, I tried a pair of nike football trainers which were miles to tight, after reading reviews for puma king thought I would try these, they felt tight at first wearing them indoors to break them in a bit, when I wore them on the pitch I forgot they were new felt really comfortable, so for me they were perfect.

I Coach Football and I have big, wide feet (size 13) these fit beautifully and are very comfy, yes they are pricey but worth it.It was painful to wear Adidas and Nike as they are so narrow that my feet over hang the sole plate and in no time, my toes push the sides of the shoes out.These lasted me nearly 12 months... Which to be fair as nearly a miracle!

These boots are well made and they offer a bit more support around the ankle than some other astros which tend to be thin and a bit flimsy. The leather is top quality and supple. Feels expensive. Like other buyers, I’d say that these are a little wider than a standard size but I didn’t need to downsize to get a good fit. Definitely recommend.

Treated myself to a pair of these bad boys. You know what you get with Puma Kings & I was not disappointed.Fitted perfectly. Just enough padding to feel the ball yet protect your feet.I've played a couple of times a week for about 6 months wearing these & they don't look like they are about to let me down any time soon.Brilliant boots.

Bought these to play over 60's walking footy on astro. Previous boots had no cushioning and were hard on the knees. Wore these and knees were fine. Support and cushioning brilliant.Find it hard to get 10.5 size to fit as have broad feet, but these fit like slippers.But pricey but well worth it.

These have always been my astroturf, and hard ground, shoe 'of choice.' They have the classic Puma look and are both comfortable and hard wearing. The 'feel' of the shoe is also good when striking a ball, and the pimpled sole grips both rubber and sand based astro turf surfaces equally well.

Through experience of previously purchasing Adidas and Puma footwear I knew to err on one size larger than I actually am,however found that these were still very snug so could have gone another half size further but it’s good to see that there are still some leather uppers out there.

I have been an Adidas wearer for 30 years for trainers for football, however recent years they seem to have shrunk and lost the padding within their shoes.These Puma's on the other hand, have the width and length as required and fell sturdy under foot.Well worth the money.

3rd pair of Puma King astro boots, each pair have lasted at least 5yrs with 2 to 3 times use every week. Always fit perfectly, comfortable, loads of support. Would never buy anything else..!! PUMA, please don't ever stop making this model of shoe..!!

Good quality boot, found it preforms well with grip on both astroturf and 3g surfaces. Have found this shoe much more comfortable than the likes of adidas and nike ones which have used thinner material and seem suited better for slim profile feet
