An excellent idea but the plastic thread is too prone to strip. With this Profile mount mounted on the righthand tri-bar, my Garmin 500 was attached to a normal left offset 'out front' bar bracket. Road vibration and the torque of the Garmin's mass tended to unwind the Profile mount and loosen the bracket. Trying to mitigate this by tightening the Profile mount simply strips the thread. I haven't tried Locktite because I suspect that it will probably dissolve the plastic.I attempted to use a Gamin mount directly attached to this Profile mount but it was too close to my taped tri-bars to attach the Garmin Edge 500 with its half-turn mount.The offset of the 'out front'

Great bit of kit, very handy for mounting bike GPS on aero/tri bars (or my use) rear light mount, my bike has aero seatpost but the seat stays are round so this little doohickey fits perfectly and allows me to securely mount rear light.Thanks

Perfect for aerobars. Super easy to mount. Holds tight. Now my computer is between my aerobars up where I can see it easily.

It was easy to install and worked perfectly for its intended purpose, i.e., to install a cyclometer on my aerobars.

Mount works great for Garmin Edge 500 to place it on the aero bars in a position I can read. Very stable and secure

A bit expensive. Design and ,mounting, systems superbly simple. Would recommend for tri bar users.
