I read the description on the mfr's site RE: the beginning of the downward curve is such that you can mount levers high (for on-the-hoods riding comfort) and still easily reach the levers from the hooks. Well, let me tell you, this is no lie. These things are F'n great. Comfortable on the tops ramps, and hoods, comfortable enough (and very usable!) in the hooks, and comfortable 'way down on the drops as well. Note the tops are 31.8mm all the way to the ramps; this is a nice touch IMO.Buying handlebars online, sight-unseen, is never best, but I have been very happy with these so far. Have put maybe 100 miles on them. Using inexpensive foam-type wrap.

Replaced an older Bontrager bar. Like the fact the the drops extend further back.
