Really nice quality binoculars but thats expected from a firm such as pentax , at this price you wont find better . mine arrived with very slight coating marks on one lens but thats me being really picky as it doesn't affect the image quality a bit so is a very minor point . like other reviews elsewhere i must also say the lens caps are pathetic and do need replacements buying as soon as possible after purchase . Apart from that these bins are a steal and the image quality they give is fantastic and well worth a place in any birders armoury , ive also got the larger 8X40 version which are even better that these ( same rubbish caps though ) in every respect but cost twice as much so thats no surprise .

This is the best affordable glass I have found. This is not a $500 Vortex unit and should not be judged as such. It is a descent set of binoculars with fully coated Bak4 lens. They are bright, crisp and clear. Focus is smooth with no issues. Eye cups work as they should. This unit could have more eye relief than some might like, but that is why they have adjustable eye cups. IMHO this is the best I have looked at for under $200. At $40, these are a steal.

For the money (about $45) it was an amazing deal.
