This is my 2nd Park Tool Stand—My first one is about 30 years old and still works beautifully during daily use. I’ve kept it clean and not much else but it’s still flawless in operation. I started thinking about getting a new work stand a year ago when I shopped for one as a gift. I saw that the new stands were much lighter, folded up to be quite portable, and had adjustable heights for work comfort. I bought a very nice Feedback Sports product with lots of features and a great price. The recipient was, and still is, delighted with that stand.I was already a Park Tool fan and when I spotted the PRS-25, I got really interested in upgrading my home shop.I compared it to the Feedback Sports Pro Elite being sold at an attractive price with a bag included. The Pro Elite folds up very nicely and sets up quickly. It’s a few ounces lighter and a few inches shorter than the Park when folded. The clamp folds down for storage while the Park screws out easily and has a nifty storage solution. The Park clamp really is a thing of beauty with micro adjustments and quality. It’s also a little smaller and that often comes in handy when working on bikes.I watched videos of the two stands in action and noticed a lot of sway on the Feedback Pro Elite. The Park looked (and is) rock solid. Finally, I worried about the tripod feet on the Pro Elite and imagined I would be tripping over them regularly. The Park supports are low to the ground and not an issue at all. The only minor negative I see on the Park is this: We’re warned to leave 12” of the extension tube in the upright tube for strength, but there are no markings on the extension tube to show when that limit is reached. I’ll have to mark it myself. The Park PRS-25 and optional carrying bag cost me about $65 more than the Pro Elite. That’s a hit but if it lasts as long as my first one, the cost won’t matter a bit. I think both brands are excellent and you probably can’t go wrong with either, but for me, the Park was a pretty easy choice.

This is my first repair stand, so take my impressions with that in mind. Before ordering, I was very concerned with the stability and sturdiness of the stand I would eventually order. My eMTB weighs 55 lbs with the battery installed, and I wanted to be able to work on my bike, including the ability to run the driveline as needed. I’m really happy to say that this stand allows me to do exactly that.I desperately needed to do a derailleur tune up on my bike, and this stand made that process a snap. I’ve literally been futzing with the derailleur for a couple of weeks trying to get it dialed in without a stand. Now I’m kicking myself for wasting so much time without one.In the first two hours of having the stand,I’ve felt inspired to do all sorts of maintenance in my bike. I’ve adjusted the brakes (I just *knew* that brake brake was dragging), re-torqued some hardware, and dropped the wheels for a good cleaning. Having a stand is a game changer. I actually *enjoy* servicing my bike now.Just to be 100% certain of its stability, I locked up my bike in the clamp, raised the stand, and — with a helper standing by to assist catching any tumbles — tried to upset the stand. Honestly, I couldn’t. The main upright has some flex, but it doesn’t feel like it’s anywhere near it’s limit. It just flexes a bit. You would have to push your stand over for it to fall. You’d literally hurt yourself if you bumped into it hard enough to knock it over.So overall, I’m very happy, and I plan to buy some accessories (tool tray!) to make working on the stand even better.

Mine arrived with one of the leg pivot bolts loose in the box and the nut missing. A new nylock nut was only $0.35 locally, but I had to drive to get it. Bad QC.I like the height of the stand with the telescoping post fully extended (12" of insertion remaining), but there's no max height mark on the upper (inner) post section. Also, even with the qr sectured, if you lift the stand by any part above the extension clamp the clamp will slide off of the lower post. I'm 6'-3" and naturally grab the stand up high, shorter people will find it less inconvenient to grab it below the extension clamp.I wish the bike clamp could be opened and closed securely just by flipping a lever, like the old pro style head. You always have to screw it open and closed, although the camming lever speeds this up. You can do this with one hand while hold the bike up with your other, so that's good. I'd also like a camming lever to free up the bike clamp rotation, but this isn't bad.The light weight is great for easy of moving around and transport. My Intense Carbine carbon has very large squarish tubes that the clamp won't hold, so the only option for that bike is to clamp the seat tube. This could be a problem with some dropper posts. Something to keep in mind, depending on your bike.At $305 it's very expensive, but I expect that I'll use it for 20+ years. I have not compared it directly with the other popular high-end stands. Despite my complaints, I give it 4 stars.

I liked nearly everything about this rack and I remain pleased to have ordered it. The one star reduction I have given it is for the less than desirable material used inside the clamping jaws. Using a moderate amount of force on the clamping lever seemed to be not enough to keep the bike from slightly slipping in the clamp. Using more force then made the clamp more difficult to close. The material used is either a hard a rubber or may even be a plastic material. I use a piece of that rubber "no slide" type shelf material on the bike frame or seat post where the clamp is to be placed before the clamp is used. The problem was absolutely solved which proves My point. This remains to be a great rack! It's a very nicely built of great material and is very sturdy on the stand and floor. There in is another testament to the saying, "You usually get what You pay for!" This rack is absolutely worth the money spent. I liked it from the very beginning as soon as I opened the box. I also really like how thew stand easily folds up and It's very light.

I had initially intended to buy an inexpensive (<$100) stand from a different online retailer, but learned of the plastic components in the clamp mechanism and changed my mind. As I read reviews of mid-level stands, the same concerns arose only the stands were from more respectable brands. While I did not purchase or use those stands, I am glad I spent more money on this stand. Not only is it more sturdy in design with greater metal components in the clamp, it is remarkably light and maneuverable. The only drawback, resulting in reduction from 5 to 4 stars, is that the lever for tightening the clamp functions rather like an oversized skewer (though believe me it is quite solid and in no risk of wearing out). This, rather than the full professional stands I have used which have a large hand lever, requires more dexterity in adjusting and securing the bike with one hand while holding the bike in the other hand. A small point that leads me to wish we could use half-stars in these ratings.

I am a novice at bicycle repairs and have not used other stands. I had problems with repairs performed poorly by bike shops, so purchased this stand along with some tools to hopefully ensure that my bicycles were maintained and repaired properly. I have used the stand to replace the bottom bracket, pedals, and crankset across two bicycles. The stand has supported the bicycles easily and securely (20 lb. carbon frame road bike and 25 lb. steel frame touring bike) even while I applied significant torque on these components and rotated the bicycles to most easily reach the various parts. It is easy to position the stand and rotate the bicycle to make repairs. The stand is light, and very easy to set up for use,and later fold back into its storage configuration. The clamp that holds your bicycle can easily be moved between its storage and use configurations. When collapsed, the stand fits easily in a corner or against a wall.Overall, I am very satisfied with this stand.

Replacement for thirty year old, basic Park PCS ‘consumer’ stand that had seen much use and was still as solid as the day I bought it. I have a Feedback Sprint stand for serious jobs, but don’t always have the time to remove the front wheel. I found that it’s best to have a standard stand, too. This upgrade is nice: great, versatile clamp is fairly easy to use. The added height is great—less stopping over for derailleur adjustment, bottom bracket work, etc. But the various clamps are a little bothersome, as is the space needed for unfolded storage. The legs/feet are wide and very long. But this definitely makes it more stable for higher-torque jobs. Not nearly as much bobbing versus the old PCS.All in all, a net gain, but I sure miss being able to fold up my workstand and hang it up out of the way. If you have lots of room and can keep it unfolded, it’s hard to beat this unit.

Had to bump review from 4 to 5 stars since I'm really liking it a lot. It gets used quite a bit with 3 cyclists in our house. For the new bikes with the larger tubes it is definitely better than any of the older models I have used.Still have a PRS-5 which I bought from Nashbar in the late 90s and it is still going quite strong. My wife has been using it for training so I/we were in need of another. She was skeptical that new would match the quality of the older one. This one is great.I think we might like it more if it had a case like the old ones did. The only downside is that Park does not supply a case any more from their flagship product. The case which I still have with my old model really makes transport and storage nice. This one is usually relegated to the shop for that reason.

PRS-25 team issue bike stand is worth its selling price. It is a very user-friendly bike stand for serious mechanics on the road. It also will make for a quality stand for those who have space limitations at home. The stand is easy to set up and take down. The clamp is professional grade. I recommend purchasing the tray and carrying bag accessories to optimize and protect this bike service investment. The bag has enough room so can package PRS-25 clamp in its original box when transporting for added protection.

I love this light weight stand which comes with a quality micro-adjust head and saves a lot of adjustment time when clamping your bike. I like that it adjusts high enough I don't have to bend my back (when clamped to the seat post) in order to work comfortably! Over all this is a very well built and sturdy work stand and will support 100 lbs. when centered or balanced! If you place your bike in an awkward position the stand will tip one side or the other. Easy to fold and store away.

This stand is pretty expensive, but it has proven to be worth every single penny and might even outlast me.It's strong, light, stable, portable and easy to set up.Once you've used the Professional Micro Adjust Clamp you'll probably not want to use another clamp as you can very easily and quickly secure, remove, reposition or rotate your bike.Wrenching with any stand is easier than not using a stand at all, but having used a few stands this one is definitely a... stand-out.

In my opinion this is the finest portable repair stand available. It is very well designed and well engineered. Everything just works as you would expect. It also has several helpful attachments available including a tool tray, truing stand, paper towel holder, etc... These are especially helpful if you are using this stand for repair support in a truly mobile environment. Buy with confidence, because you will not be disappointed.!

Great sturdy but light bike stand. Travels well and highly adjustable. Can mount and hold any type of bike. When properly set up grip can have a perfect hold on anything from a heavy mtb to a high end carbon tri bike. Costs a little more than other stands, but worth it if you ever think you will need to travel with it or even store it after each use. Set up is quick so I store it after each time since I use it at home.

I saw on a youtube video of the many repair stands park tool carries and this one was said in the video to be a very liked one cause of it's quick release and locking which makes it easy to set up and put away one of my favorite investments for my mountain bike makes it easy to do cleaning and repairing I highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a repair stand for their bike's to purchase this one if you can

Cracking piece of kit!My only gripe is my bike is quite heavy so it would have been useful if the design had a crank to adjust the height. If you have a light bike this won’t be a problem. The stand is very well made and of very high quality sturdy construction and easy to collapse down to store or take to events. Highly recommended and still 5 star as a league above the rest.
