I recently purchased these tire leavers to swap out tires on a friend's bike. *Guilty confession - I have been using a pair of flat head screwdrivers for this since I was 7 years old and my dad taught me how to patch innertubes on my Murray BMX. Not wanting to scuff my buddy's rims, I picked up a set of these levers. Huge difference for such a small item. Screwdrivers fall out when using the second one to break the bead. These have hooks to snag a spoke and stay perfectly in place. If you have a really stubborn tire, you can use two and slide the third one around the bead. These snap together into a compact block so I added them to my emergency cycling tool kit. A few days later,I had a flat tire on the canal in AZ (lots of thorns in the desert) on my road bike. Those tires are tight and there was no way I would have gotten it off by hand and my multi-tool does not have leavers built in. I pulled these and my patch kit out and was back up and running in under 15 minutes. I was 5 miles away from home when the tire went flat and would have had to walk the bike home if not for these. Protip - Always check the tire for the object that caused the puncture. In this case, the small thorn was still in the tire and had I not looked, it would have immediately re-punctured. My minimum kit for longer rides includes tire leavers, a bike multi-tool, patch kit and pump or CO2 inflator. Still leaves room in the under seat pouch for my phone, keys and garage door opener. Safe riding!

Great tool. Usually I rely on tyre levers which have been in goody bags, prizes, thrown to the crowd etc at cycling events. However, after losing all of these and having been unlucky in not receiving any more free ones, I was left lever-less. Thereby, every puncture ultimately cost me some bend spoon handles and scratched wheels. So the time came when I eventually purchased these parktool tyre levers. Being Parktool, they are very good quality and show no evidence of being 'chewed up' or snapping. Great price of £2.99 which I will happily pay again for the great quality, after I inevitably lose the three I have just bought. Overall, great buy and would recommend!

A basic tire lever set that's not going to break the bank but yet get the job done without puncturing your newly installed innertube. These will do the same thing as the more expensive tire lever sets. If taken care of these will last a very long time. I like to try to challenge myself and see how far I can get the tire back onto my wheel without using tire levers. I have very strong hands and sometimes depending on how tight the tire is to the wheel I can get by without using these but of course there are those times you just need to tap out and use these.

Tires and rims sometimes just don't match in circumference. When they create a tight fit I sometimes have to really test the strength of my tire levers. And, sometimes the lever will break when prying the bead from the hook of the rim. Just like you I hate having that happen when I'm on the road fixing a flat much less in my shop just doing maintenance on my bikes. As in most cases when buying my bike tools I look for quality and durability. Although these levers are still plastic, they are the toughest ones I've found in my 45+ years of bike riding.

Not a whole lot of benefit of these tire lever set compared to random cheapos other than that these snap together for ease of storage. Beyond that, I didn't see a whole lot of benefit or advantage compared to a couple old bargain tire levers I had got for free when I bought some generic inner tubes for my kid's bike from W-Mart several years ago. They didn't break when I was using them and didn't damage my rims, so 4 stars it is. I don't think these fancy levers made changing the tire any easier than the cheaper plastic ones.

I have a good metal lever set in my shop but kept some cheap plastic ones in my bike pack.....BAD IDEA! Was on the road and a friend when his small wheeled bike got a flat. I thought, "no big deal." I got my set of cheapies out and proceeded to break all 3 levers trying to get his tire off. Came home and ordered This set of Parks, bent the snot out of them to see if they would break. NOPE, they wouldn't break! Their keepers! Don't buy cheap, they'll leave you on the road!

I had a set of the TL-1 levers and got this set thinking they were identical but they're slightly different. I like these more though, they have a flat edge instead a rounded tip. These don't fit/nest with the original TL-1 levers if you're planning on mixing and matching them.I now have 6 total and broke them up into pairs for each bike since I never need 3 for a tire change. A pair of TL-1, a pair of TL-1.2 and a mix of TL-1 and TL-1.2 that don't nest/snap together.

Works perfectly. It allowed popping off the tire so easily. Previously I had used those old metal irons and they were a real problem...too thick. But these fit right between the tire and wheel and easily broke the seal. The hook on the end is clever. I only needed 2 actually...but good to have a spare. I only took one side of the tire off the wheel...which I think made for a quicker/easier tube change.

I love these. Best levers ever. Period. Solid and really well designed. When putting a tyre on these have the standard bend that goes over the wall of the rim and also a ridge on the lever which pushes the tyre into place as you lift the lever up. Very clever stuff. I've owned many tyre levers over the 25 years or so I've been cycling and these are by far the best. Solid and great. 10 outa 10. ??

Hands down the best tyre levers I've ever used!I've used Topeak levers, Pedro's levers and a variety of others and these just do the job.Their relative narrow form (compared to Topeak or Pedro's) makes it easier to get in under the tyre, and they're exceptionally durable.I've got 4 sets now (in a variety of saddle bags and backpacks) and I've not had a single one snap on me.

Much better value for money than I expected. I'd never taken a tyre off a wheel before, I did struggle at first but soon got the hang of it. I wouldn't have been able to do it without these though.I only used two, but it's always good to have a spare! The fact they clip together is good too, means I'm less likely to lose them.

Product is very easy to use and with having 3 allows you to keep your fingers from having to get pinched. I was able to remove the bike tire so quickly and without having to puncture the tire and reuse since the tube i only had to replace. I like that the 3 are stack able and easy to store away. I recommend this product.

A friend advised me to pick these guys up after attempting the seemingly impossible task of replacing a road bike inner tube without them. They made the impossible possible and stack together to save space to be packed away and taken out on rides.Highly recommended based on my limited but successful usage so far.

Picked a set of these up after buying some cheaper levers that didn't even hold up during one tire install (brand new, very stiff tire). These got the job done and Park Tool even has instructional videos available on you tube that are helpful in illustrating the process. Well worth spending a little extra!

A lot of people leave reviews saying these are very strong and will never break. The truth is they break, that's why I ordered another set. I think the plastic gets weaker over time, I only find they break after 7 or 8 years. These are light so worth carrying along but expect them to break at some point.
