There's no mistaking the higher quality of this Park Tool's multi-tool. Solid in the hand, beautifully engineered, and containing a range of useful tools (with barely any waste of space filler), this is the perfect bit of kit to throw in the commuter bag or tuck into your saddlebag. What can't really be argued with though, is that you can pick up very similar for much less. A certain big name bike retailer even throws in something similar with every bike - and whilst a direct comparison demonstrates just how much better quality the Park Tool's offering is, ultimately this is a set of hex keys plus extras. This is the Apple iPad of Hex multi-tools, compared to the no-name Android tablet's available from others.Only you know if that difference matters to you.

I love bits of practical engineering like this -- designed to reach in where other multitools can't, simple, lightweight yet very strong - almost negates the need for workshop tools. Has all the essential bits, (I looked at dozens of new tools available before choosing this one) personally I carry the park tools mini chain splitter as a separate tool (it is SOOOO much easier to use than the tools built into multitools especially in the dark with gloves on!!) so this is the perfect compliment - just the right stuff. I ride tubs so I don't want unnecessary tyre levers either. I am a 5000+ miles a year cyclist, commuting in all conditions as well as big club and solo rides, so I do actually get to use these tools!Buy one you won't be disappointed.

I have a tool box full of Park Tools and I like most of them. This little gem though, I love. I sits very nicely in the hand and has a reassuringly 'heavy' feel to it, although it's actually quite light. I won't go on a ride without this tool. As some others have mentioned I was at first a little surprised at the lack of star screwdriver among the array of options. However, on reflection it's not surprising as these are the first to round off in any tool kit. Perhaps a replaceable bit like the 8mm Allen head key might be an idea for Park to consider. As this is my only gripe this neat tool gets 5 stars from me.

I have had this on my wish list for some time. You can buy cheaper but this is a great design and fantastic quality. It has a very tactile feel and it is easy to select the individual element you require. I have not used it yet but I have every confidence it will be a great addition to my tool kit. I like the addition of the 8mm hex which sits on the 6mm hex. Simply slip the 8mm off to use the 6mm hex key - it took me a short while to realise this!

I really like this product. It has a great, sturdy feel to it and appears to have the allen keys that your average Joe might need if out on their road bike (as is the case with me). It's a great size too! This has fitted very nicely into my saddle pouch and still left me room after the inner tube, the tyre levers, an inhaler, some tyre patches, my High5 and whatever else I can cram in there. An essential to get you out of a fix I'd say.

Great, handy, light. Downside is if you want an allan key suitable for other uses this is not the one. It's often useless because of the bulk of the tool preventing the allan keys getting into smaller places.I used to carry a basic allan key set in my bag, which was great for bike and other uses, it was half the price, as good quality, only about 20g heavier but not as ergonomic shape. Not sure this purchase was worth it overall.

It's good but no phillips head screwdriver. Tool feels sturdy although a little small- I guess that's the disadvantage of a travel kit. The other thing I must mention is that when you go to screw some bolts on, just by the nature of you holding the tool, other keys slide out so you have to be careful not to bend some of the thinner tools. Definitely more a get out of jail card.

If you're going to buy a multi-tool to take riding with you, then i suggest this one. The tool is strong and sturdy and when i use it, i don't feel like the tool is going to mould into the groove that it is placed in (i.e. stripping the tool) as it would if you used a cheaper multi-tool. Spend an extra few pounds and save yourself the hassle!

Someone said that 'If you're going to buy a multi-tool to take riding with you, then I suggest this one'.I agree wholeheartedly. The best thing about this tool is the light weight which makes it easy to carry with you when cycling.

Bought for brother-in-law, well getting a thank you was like pulling teeth. Once I talked around the subject for a while he managed to say it was brilliant. Well done me, will be putting in less effort to get something next year.

This is a neat little piece of kit but has one major flaw, no cross head screwdriver. There is a flat head driver but how many bike parts now use a flat head? Most, for example, front and rear mech adjusters are cross head.

Sturdy and super compact. Park are a brand with a reputation for bike tools that have been around for decades.Cheaper tools tend to undo themselves and become loose, I don't see any sign of that happening with this one.

Brilliant product and great quality.. I have had other similar tool kits and the cheap ones are a waste of money. My advise always for quality not price!! In the long run it works out cheaper by far.

What a great little tool. Perfect for keeping in a saddle bag and taking with you on rides. The design cuts down the weight by only having one support "beam" instead of two, and it works very well.

It's a park tool what more can I say? Always with me out on the trails in my rucksack. Already used it a couple of times and seems to be very robust. Might even buy the bigger one in the future.
