As an amazing model:Correct in every detail this model is a very accurate representation of the dinosaur, everything has been meticulously considered from anatomy and skin texture through to the curve of the jaw. Papo unmistakeably have a palaeontologist in their mists. This said; colour of course remains unknown, Papo have opted for a subtle blending of earthly colours that give a striking lifelike appearance, particularly in natural lighting.And yes, the image above is not deceiving you; the model really can stand unsupported in that dynamic pose.As a toy:While I would argue such a stunning model would be shamefully wasted in child’s toy box, the polymer (plastic)

Ever since I discovered Papo's dinosaur range I have been incredibly impressed with the quality of their products. As of writing this I only have two of their models, this and the brown Tyrannosaurus, however they are both of an extremely high quality and are depicted accurately. This Carnotaurus model is definitely the most detailed and accurate for available for retail purchase and is far superior to all other brands such as Schleich's version. Whilst it is quite small it is in scale with the Tyrannosaurus model, a neat little bonus, and is very well painted and sculpted. An incredible buy, and to whoever had one that couldn't stand; I have no problem with mine,

This is one of a number of dinosaur figurines I got my 4yr old son for his last birthday. As with all papo figures, it is highly detailed and has withstood a fair amount of punishment. I would not hesitate to recommend this brand, especially if accuracy and detail are important to you. We only have three of these ‘premium’ style dinos in our collection and at their normal prices, they should probably be considered collectors pieces as opposed to children’s toys. I was able to get this at a special price (under £7), but I note that it is currently retailing at over £16!

This is a very nice piece from Papo and the second dinosaur I got from this company (Velociraptor being the first). Even though I expected it to be a bit larger, it is still large enough not to be considered tiny. The details for which Papo is known are all present and Carno looks very nice. The stance looks attractive - however, it is quite unstable. It is difficult to keep it standing on a smooth and hard surface, and it is almost impossible to do it on a carpet. Besides that, I have no other complaints and I will go for Papo dinos again.

Like all the papo range of dinosaurs, this is another well posed and detailed model of the Carnosaur..! I marked this down toFour stars only as it is much smaller than say 'The' T-Rex. I'm sure that in real life the T-Rex would have been larger than theCarnosaur, but I think the scale between these Two is possibly quite some way out..?However, this is still a great fearsome looking model Carnosaur, and with all the Papo range of dinosaurs come's highly recomended.

Again another lovely model from papo (but smaller than expected) I've read the other reviews and have to say the lady with the standing problem was just unlucky with the casting, the one I received if fine but having had two spinosaurus one was okay the other doesn't really stand properly so I can understand where she is coming from but it's just luck of the draw.

Excellent model. The headline price seems steep for a plastic toy dinosaur, but in this instance you get what you pay for. Fantastic detail. Got mine as a cheap-ish way to have a dinosaur ornament on my mantelpiece: off to the model shop for a wooden trophy base and some bits and bobs to make a scene for this little ripper to prowl in.

Great pose if difficult to get standing up but small point the colour and texture are fantastic and with the movable jaw it looks awesome, I love these Papo dinosaurs for the money they are the best dino figures out there fantastic.

A fantastic little model of a not so ''famous'' carnivorous dinosaur.Very well detailed for its size, complete with a movable jaw.A must for children and adults alike with an interest in all things Prehistoric.

These remind me of the excellent dinosaurs that the Early Learning Centre used to sell when I was a child many years ago. My daughter loves this and it helped with her word development pronouncing the name.

This is the sort of dinosaur model that just leaves you speechless, the detail and the pose work so well together. This is my favourite Papo dinosaur model and thats saying something!

Fantastic detail, moveable jaw, however not very good at standing up unaided so not quite so good for little ones. My 3 year old gets a little frustrated, but great for older kids.

As with all Papo figures this is very detailed and looks great in this posture with the articulated jaw open.

Good quality and detail, but thats reflected in the price. Other cheaper models do not have the same detail.

Excellent quality and detailed as to be expected from Papo toys. Very realistic, daughter loves them!
