This is one of the sharpest lenses I have owned in over 30 years of photography.I put no for durability because it can easily scratch which is why from day one I bought a camp jacket for mine. If durability is reliable its spot on. I have used this on a G9 and OMD EM! and EM1 EM1 mk2 and EM5 MK2 to which the focus, ibis and balance all seemed perfect.This really is the lens for Sport and wildlife, especially if you have to do a lot of hiking to the location. Its a fraction under the sharpness of primes like the Olympus 300mm F4 but the Zoom versatility more than makes up for it. Used on the G9 of course you get double the stabilisation working together, on the Olympus you can choose either lens or body IS.

If you don't need a long lens for low light situations, for the money, this is a great lens. Quality fast lenses of this focal length cost as much as a small car. Focusing is generally pretty good, though sometimes needs a couple if shots at it under some conditions. The manual focus ring is nicely weighted. Zoom ring is just slightly sticky when using small movement to get framing just right but not a big issue. Image stabilisation works very well making sharp handheld shots at full focal length very doable. A fab lens for the money, no serious issues to moan about, great value.

800mm equivalent in a moderate size. Anti shake in-lens and some cameras. Compatible with all M4/3 cameras.Very sharp images. Fast focus with my cameras.This was good value as a second hand lens. Brand new it is pricey but you still get a lot of quality for the moneyTripod mount not really good enough for the job. Weird zoom opposite rotation to every other lens I have..

This is a very good lens in almost all respects. The manual focus is a bit stiff but the auto is so good I never use manual anyway. On a 4/3 camera, hand held, antishake on - the lens can pull in very clean images even in stiff winds. I love it.

Heavier than I expected, but I guess there's a lot of glass in there. Couldn't really justify or afford a feature lens, but this is great for wildlife, providing you want a very fast shutter speed on a dull day.

On maximum zoom the image was not quite as sharp as I had hoped, even using a tripod. Enlarging the image made the blurriness even more noticeable. Still, no regrets about purchasing this lens.

Beautiful lens that does all I ask of it. Not cheap but you get what you pay for in photography.
