This is only my second OtterBox cover for a phone, but the previous one lasted very well and most certainly saved my old phone from several potential catastrophes, so I was happy to try another Otterbox product for a new phone.The previous cover was from the Otterbox Defender series of several years ago, and consisted of a polycarbonate outer with a separate soft gel inner. The only real dislike I had for this particular case was that, when assembled, the edges of the gel cover were exposed at the corners, and consequently had the habit of 'snagging' on the fabric of trouser and shirt pockets. No sharp corners or anything, just that the grippy surface of the gel inner would drag against the clothing fabric,making getting it smoothly in and out of snug pockets a bit irritating. But, like I have already written, it did a great job of protecting my old phone over several years.Mindful of this previous issue, plus the fact that my new phone is slightly larger, I decided to go for a less bulky cover, and chose this one from the Otterbox Symmetry series. A bonus is that it is much easier to get on and off the phone than the older Defender case, with the soft inner and harder outer being permanently attached to each other. The soft inner layer is also less exposed and not quite so grippy as the previous stuff, so no problems sliding it in and out of pockets. Furthermore, it doesn't increase the bulk of the handset by very much and has a comfortable, slightly roughened surface texture on the outer shell with which to securely hold the phone. Given that the Samsung Galaxy S7 has plenty of slippery, smooth glass surfaces, this is a good thing! It is early days yet, but so far, so good!EDIT: Two and a half years on and this cover has paid for itself several times over! My Samsung Galaxy S7 phone is still pristine, despite a couple of drop incidents, and the case exterior has marks which are testament to it doing the job it was designed for! I later added a tempered glass screen protector and that, in combination with the Otterbox case, have been well worth it.

Let me get the bad bit out the way first. The only reason why I'm giving this case 4 stars is because mine arrived in a less than perfect condition. There's a small blemish/mark on the back. I may add a photo later. It isn't enough for me to send it back though.Now the good stuff. I should first address the issues raised by the other reviewer. The case I received fits my S8+ perfectly. It also doesn't have sharp edges. Maybe, unlike the other reviewer, I got lucky, but I can only talk based on my experience.All that aside, the case seems to provide decent protection without adding significant bulk to what is already quite a big phone. It's pretty grippy, and I can access all the ports easily,though I can foresee people with thick headphone connectors having issues plugging in. Around the back, there's a nice sloping next to the fingerprint scanner that helps to mitigate its poor positioning. It's still not ideal but it's better than it was without the case. In terms of aesthetics, I really like the two-tone blue colouring.Yes, this is a pricey case, but it's an Otterbox, and that price should (hopefully) be worth it if I ever drop my phone (which I never hope to do). I would definitely recommend it.

Excellent fit and high quality product, I'd imagine this will protect the phone quite well.It is bulky compared to the sleeker cases out there but I'd imagine this case will protect your phone much better and it actually doesn't look too bulky, so you get a good balance between appearance and protection.At first I was a little shocked at how heavy it made my phone feel but 2 days in and I've got used to it (I sometimes suffer with fatigue and pain in my hands but this is still okay for my hands)I got the pink (paris blush) one, I think the colour on my computer screen matches what it actually looks like but of course the colour on each computer screen can vary.I would say the back is like a bubblegum pink and the front is a light muted lilac/violet (it's not a garish pink).I am yet to buy a glass screen protector so I'm not sure how the fitting will be like together with this cover?

really happy with this purchase. no complaints about the seller and the case arrived quickly.the case isn't particularly bulky an provides protection to the screen should the phone be left face down due to a slightly raised edge. the compromise of having a slim case however means that you probably would damage your screen if it landed face down on anything other than a completely flat surface.great for what I want though.

As you'd expect this case is slightly bulky compared to some cases, but in my case this was what I wanted in order to protect a phone I'd purchased rather than getting on a contract. I'd have given it 5 stars if it had sat flat on flat surfaces then using with one hand but it has a slight curvature on the back which makes it spin around when using one handed whilst sat on my desk so this was the only downside.

The material quality is hard and sturdy but makes pressing of the volume keys on my s8+ quite hard. It does not offer over the infinity desplay of my s8+ protection as it does not go over the curves. That is a no go for me. The price is a bit too steep given that it does not offer full protection. I expected better from otterbox truth be told. I ended up still changing my case and bought a clayco case instead.

Works with "amFilm Bye-Bye-Bubble Samsung Galaxy S7 Tempered Glass Screen Protector" by TechMatte UK (here on Amazon.co.uk). There's about a 1mm gap between the screen protector and the overlap of the case.The power and volume up/down buttons are a bit stiff to push with the case on.The edge of the case is really nice in the hand but the back has a plastic feel to it which is not the nicest.

Cant go wrong for the price. They aren't perfect, you can tell there is a screen protector on, but I was finding the screen of my s8+ was scratching very easily and needed something to fit with my otterbox protective case and this definitely does the trick and is significantly less costly than the tempered glass screen protector that was available from my local Samsung store.

It is a little bulky at first but you get used to it very quickly. Phone feels very sturdy, I bought this about 5 months ago, have dropped my phone a few times since then and it has been fine. Has a few scratches on the corners because of it but that's expected. It is a great case if you are looking for something sturdy that covers the entire phone.

This case is pretty good. It does everything it should (protecting your phone) while also not being too bulky like other cases. I've dropped my phone twice and it's slid across the ground on its back. Both times it would have probably smashed but the otter box did it's job. The only downside is the colour options. It could look a bit more stylish!

This is one of the best phone cases I've ever baught it is unobtrusive and has protected my s7 since the day I baught. It has taken multiple knocks and bangs and never seen any damage. A massive improvement as I didn't want the old big clunky Otterbox cases, there's no need of your phones water proof!

Having had an Otterbox cover for my previous HTC, I ordered this one when I got my new Samsung. These covers are excellent protectors and I wouldn't be without one. This is a much slimmer cover than my last one (Commuter), just hope it's as effective! The colour goes well with my gold coloured phone.

I got this case as I had a tech 21 case but the on.. off button was hard to press but not a deal breaker till I saw this case on a friends phone a day later I bought o e and I'm glad I did as my phone feels more sturdy and looks better and yes the buttons are easy to press

Looks good and has worked to protect my phone. Dust can get between phone and case and because it is seethrough you'll need to clean it every so often. But this doesn't detract from what a good product this is. I'd always choose otterbox over any other phone case maker.

This case is perfect for the samsung galaxy s7. I got the red colour and it is amazing. It's easy to clean and not too bulky. I have noticed that it's started to go black around the edges on the front but I'm sure that this can be removed with warm soapy water
