After deciding to switch from an iPhone 6s to the iPhone 8 I was worried about the glass back being smashed and damaged easily as I had read plenty of review online, I originally planned to switch to the iPhone 7 due to this reason but due to there being very little difference in my contract price I decided to risk it and go with the 8. As I was worried about the fragile glass back I knew I needed a strong case to ensure that the glass back was protected from any damage, as we all know how easy it is to drop an mobile! Ever since owning my first iPhone, the iPhone 5s, I have always used the cheap leather front and back (folio) cases found on eBay but I knew that these wouldn't be strong enough to protect the glass as they are extremely flimsy,but they are alright for the aluminium iPhones..I did some research and came across various hard wearing cases (advertised as shock proof) and I managed to narrow it down between this and a UAG case. I found it difficult deciding which one to go for as both have mixed reviews but after reading many review about the writing coming off the UAG cases and the fact that this case (at the time) was slightly cheaper I settled on purchasing this.I have had the case for 7 months and for someone who uses their phone on a regular basis this case has been great and has met all my expectations, and I am yet to find any faults. My case still looks brand new! I have dropped my phone twice from a very small height but even so it has protected my mobile, I can't comment on the protection when dropping it from a fair height though! What I like about this case the most and was also another deciding factor, is the fact that it looks smart and professional. There is the otterbox logo on the side of the case where you open it but it is very small and you really see it that much, unlike some cases which have massive logos printed on. The feel of it is nice too as I know some cases can feel plastic and tacky but this is nice and neat, a bonus point for me is that it has the leather look rather than a plastic look. It's also handy for storing cards in the inside pocket, such as a driving license, although these can be difficult to pull out sometimes, especially when you have 2 or 3 cards stored in there, so ideally storing one or maybe two cards is better.I have read some people commenting on the microphone issue, but so far I have not had this issue and I have had this fitted to my iPhone for 7 months, so can't really comment much on that issue..I think this product is set at a reasonable price and you can definitely tell the difference between this case and a cheap one off eBay. I will definitely be purchasing another case once my case finally starts suffering from wear and tear!

When upgrading to my iPhone 8 Plus, I immediately wanted to get a premium case. The Apple cases weren’t an option after having one on my 6s...whilst they mostly protect the phone brilliantly well, the fact that the bottom of the case is open often meant my phone would get scratched or chipped if dropped. Then there is the cost of them! The other thing I wanted was a ‘folio’ style case, since I’d just written off my 6s’ screen. I didn’t want that to happen to my beautiful, shiny, new 8 Plus.I used to work for Apple retail, a long time ago. OtterBox cases were always recommended in the store I worked in, due to the amazing protection and relatively good prices. But they were always a bit ugly and bulky.This CANNOT be said about the OtterBox Strada Series. As well as having the typical OtterBox quality, the look of this case is fantastic. It doesn’t add to much bulk to the phone, and the leather is so far wearing well (I’ve been using the case for over a month, and my phone is CONSTANTLY used in my field of work), and I'm absolutely confident of the quality of the case. The card slot comfortably caters for a maximum of two cards, ideal for nights out where having a wallet in your pocket is inconvenient!There was only one issue with this case, and I must stress at this point that you'll be hard pressed to find someone as particular as me when is comes to HUGE expectations...As much as the case offers AMAZING protection, including a very soft interior to the case that protects the glass on the back of the iPhone 7/7Plus 8/8 Plus from both scratches and impacts (a feature that I’ve only ever seen in all Apple and some Khomo cases), the opening for the camera didn’t seem very protective to me. The plastic is exposed on the left and bottom sides of the opening, which to me seemed like it could scratch the glass on the back of the phone. My solution to this was to take some masking tape and carefully cut and stick it on that I felt weren’t adequately protected. It took minutes, and made me feel extremely happy after doing it. I’ve attached a photo of what I did to this review.Other than the above, the case is amazing. I believe that with my modification, you’ll struggle to find a case that looks as good as this whilst offering such a high level of protection.

I've just purchased an IPhone 7 and this is my second Otterbox case. The previous case was a Otterbox Defender for an IPhone 6 which was very tough and dropping the phone was no problem at all. I did find the Defender a little chunky in size as it nearly tripled the depth of the Iphone, although it fit perfectly okay in the inside pocket of my suit. Although the case certainly helped preserve the resale value of the phone!This time I decided to go for something that will hopefully protect the phone just as well, but is sleeker and more suited to the office hence choosing the Strada case. Having put my phone in it today the quality of the case is superb,it's made of genuine leather and all 4 corners of the phone are protected in tough material which covers and protects both the off and volume buttons whilst making them still usable.There is a hole to access the silent switch and also the lighting port charging point as well as holes for both bottom speakers. The case also has certified drop protection meaning it's been tested thoroughly.The front screen cover is held shut by a strong magnet so it shouldn't fly open if it's dropped whilst closed. There is also a slot on the front cover to hold a credit/debit card but I would say only 2 cards max.

I can't recommend this case enough. I am a female with small hands and it doesn't feel bulky for me to hold, and I can open the magnetic flap with one hand (for those times when you grab your phone out of your bag to answer quickly) due to the small flap holding the phone closed.I think it looks awesome on the phone and is very classy. The leather is genuine and feels smooth to the touch but also appears thick enough to not tear or mark.I have dropped my phone on concrete with this case on (from waist height) and there is not even a dint or chip or anything on the case anywhere!! So that impressed me! The case did also not flip open on impact. This happened to me on my previous iphone 6,with a much cheaper case and cracked the home button!!I have been using the teal colour since November now and it still looks brand new, the inside hasn't started to get grubby yet either so I am either very clean haha or the material is well made to hold up from general dirt....I'm always holdubg my phone too, so I'm happy it isn't looking discoloured on the pale inside material.Just ordered another in black. You really do get what toy pay for this with case, so if you do think it is a bit pricey, still go for it as you won't be let down at all!

Excellent wrap around protection for your iPhone. It fits the phone like a tight glove ensuring that if dropped your phone will not fall out of the cover, and protects the phones on all sides with a think rubber buffer designed to prevent damage if the phone if dropped from height onto a hard surface. This I can totally believe this although I have yet to actually test those claims!!!The folio cover gives good protection to the screen and has an excellent magnetic catch which works very well and is one of the best catches I have seen on this type of phone cover on the market. Having undertaken a lot of research into folio cases in phone shops and now having used this cover for six weeks,I conclude that this is without doubt one of the best phone case on the market if protection, rather than style, is your main concern. Highly recommended.

This case is of high quality build and my iPhone 8 fits perfectly. I've been caught in the rain a few times and my case/phone as a combo don't seem to have suffered. It also provides very good protection to the screen. I haven't dropped my phone so far so I guess this would be the true test.The only downside I can find (but it doesn't really hamper me that much) is that the microphone is muffled which means it can (but not always) sound like I am having network issues. Also the feature 'hey siri' will ONLY work when im directly facing my phone which means its more difficult to set a quick reminder or look something up quickly when my hands are full.I would still recommend choosing Otterbox cases,I have used them a few times before and I really does provide a lot of protection!!

I have been using this case for a couple of months so far and have to say that so far it has lived up to expectation. The case is quite expensive, however is solid, smart and truely protective. It is slim enough to allow phone to fit in a pocket without too much issue, and the cover protects the screen well from any keys, coins etc. The cover is sufficiently good that I don't even use a screen protector.The protective button covers make the buttons a little stiff to operate but a small price for the level of protection provided.The only other slight detractor is getting a good grip on the phone due to the booklet format,but this is the case with any phone case of this format and was anticipated at time of purchaseOverall a great case and I have no hesitation in recommending.

Fabulous case - smart, elegant and well put-together. Exactly what you would expect from a premium brand.I've been using this for about six months, during which time my iPhone 7 plus has had a couple of pretty hard knocks a drop or two and been slung in my work bag. The phone is still as new.The magnetic closure is just the right strength and the case can be folded to stand your phone nicely in a portrait orientation. The magnetic closure also fastens the flap securely behind the phone when you're using it. All of the ports are fully accessible, including the mute toggle switch, and I have big fingers. The control buttons are as easy to use as the would be on the naked phone.

This is just a class item. It looks so smart and it feels so solid. I don't feel worried at all with this. It feels very secure and the buttons are all very accessible. The magnetic clasp is nice and secure, does not feel like its going to fall off which they can often do!I only have 2 small issues with it, 1 is the price - it is an expensive case. But then again the iPhone 7+ is not a cheap device. Secondly is the microphone, this case seems to muffle the mic a little. Not hugely, but enough so that if others on the receiving end don't have a decent speaker then they may have some difficulties hearing you.All in all i would highly recommend this case!

I needed a full cover wallet for my new iphone 7, as I carry it in my pocket at work. This one from Otterbox is perfect, as it has the front and back cover plus the protective bumper. Together with the Otterbox tempered glass screen ( which was quite simple to apply without getting air bubbles, incidentally), I feel my phone is as protected as it can be in a pocket full of work related gear e.g keys, chewing gum, pens, while still being easy to access. The leather front and back is really smooth, and the colour is classy without being boring. Only time will tell on its longevity, but all in all a very neat well constructed product.

Amazing value! Best case I've owned. It is slim but affords complete protection as it is sturdy and really well made - so, if (like me) you leave the case open and it falls screen side down onto a hard floor - the raised edge prevents the screen coming into contact with the floor. Also, if you insert your credit card fully into the space for it, you can still close the cover without there being an annoying gap or the magnet not holding (as happens with a lot of others). And finally... you can actually take flash pictures without the annoying shadow effect that most other cases of this design seem to create. Can't fault it!

Great product, nicely packaged, arrived in perfect condition, on time & I’m delighted with product. Best price found.Had same version for iPhone 7 & this one is just as good, with added benefit of ‘stand’ feature, works very well.I frequently drop my phone, & it protected my iPhone 7 perfectly (without added screen protector), over 24 months of daily use & no damage to phone. Reason I ordered again - confidence in product.As final note....the last case has worn very very well in 24 months, no fraying at seams ... leather has wear marks in the leather, but only as to be expected. Happy customer. Would order again.

This cover is by far and away the best cover I've ever used on one of my iPhones! I've had iPhones since the 3G and since getting a new 7 plus, I felt it was more vulnerable, being larger than what I'm used to, so felt it needed a more substantial cover for added protection. This has it all. Very well made with high quality materials, looks, fits and feels excellent all round, and gives great confidence in the protection it provides. I was not sure about paying out over £30 for a phone cover, but since receiving it the doubts have all gone! A very well spent £30 I'd say. Great job Otterbox!!

We bought two of these to protect our brace of new iPhone 7's. They're the best case I've ever had for an iPhone (4, 5S or 7) and we've always bought expensive leather folio jobs (Austin Craig, etc.) which fell apart eventually.The Otterbox is a clever design that combines the best of a robust but neat rubbery plastic and cosmetic appeal of leather. Holding up well so far.The edges are just proud of the screen surface so in theory the screen should survive a "buttered side down" drop even if the cover flap doesn't flip over and cover it... unless it fell on stony ground of course.

Just upgraded to the iPhone 7 and was looking for a flip case.Previous phone was a IPhone 6s and a torro flip case in tan which I loved. But life ended with a cracked screen and a heavily worn case.I've had otterbox before, whilst giving good protection found them chuncky and ugly.This case though is spot on and very thin, actually thinner than the torro case.Nothing more to say really, good looking, thin and more importantly will protect your phone.My only advice is if you buy this case get yourself a decent glass screen protector.
