I've had this fitted some time now, so this is a long term review.The case fits perfectly and offers 100% protection to the phones edges, with the obvious exception of the socket cut outs. This is important to me, I am sad enough that I don't want the sides scratched by coming into contact with keys or coins in my pocket. I was surprised how many more expensive cases do not offer similar protection (including Samsung's own case).It grips very firmly and is very robust. I have dropped the phone twice from waist height and the phone and case sustained no damage at all, so it's already proved it's worth.It does affect the screen protector. This review is for the Strada Series Folio for iPhone XR.I've had so many phones over the years, and always used either Otterbox or Thule - because I know they work. Never smashed a phone yet!This Otterbox Strada case has a leather flap that protects the screen, while the back of it is a solid hard plastic reinforced case - true Otterbox. The leather comes all the way back so the whole thing is like a little leather folio.There are no sleeves or pockets for things like cards, so the case stays relatively thin.Me personally, i'm not a massive fan of the flap as I find it annoying, and you can't really cut it off as it's all integrated as one piece of leather. Received this today and it's exactly what I was after!Been a massive fan of Otterbox and their cases for years, ever since owning the first Galaxy Note and a plethora of phones thereafter!I didn't want a bulky hard case for my S8 Plus and with me going 'naked' and not using a screen protector (as we all know the mobiles with these screens don't accommodate screen protectors very well); I wanted a decent case that will offer great protection all roundI had bought this case alongside the UAG Metropolis Feather Light case as well; but that's been returned due to the front cover being very flimsy and having no trust in it staying where it needs to be to protect the screen,

The Otter Box Strada is a fantastic case, I rate it so highly I’ve just brought a second one.I brought the first one nearly 3 years ago and being a painter and decorator it gets paint and dust thrown at it almost daily, I’ve dropped it more than a dozen times and my iPhone 7 is still as good as new. This case is built to last.When the case is new it’s quite stiff and it can be hard to get your bank card out but it soon wears in nicely like a pair of new trainers.I have to clean out the ports from time to time but I’ve had cases’s in the past with bungs that protect the ports and they always break off and can be a faff to pick out when needing to plug in the charger or earphones.I never bother with screen protectors (I’m terrible at putting them on)

Very nice ‘old’ looking leather. Am sure will become even better with use. Sprayed it with leather-care for bags and shoes, before fitting phone inside, to minimize stains and marks. So far so good, about Does collect the odd scratch, but this adds to the authenticity of the leather. Perfect fit for S9 with glass screen protector fitted. You just need to apply a little extra pressure on power key (adjustable in settings), otherwise all buttons work with ease. Magnetic catch works well to keep case closed, and also open. Clever. Slim fitting. Not a Smart Cover, does not activate screen nor turn it off, which would’ve been nice, but only a minor improvement. Compliments the S9,

After looking at many, many iPhone 6 cases I plumped for this one as it looked a perfect mix of form and function. Indeed this is a very nice case and the iPhone fits very securely into it. Like all OtterBox cases the phone feels very well protected all around, with the sides nicely protected yet still allowing access to all key buttons. The magnetic clasp to the flip screen protector works well and is easy to use. The little card space for a card is a nice bonus. My only qualm (and the reason I returned the product) was the look of the case - I wasn't really a fan of the white stitching on the leather on the front of the case which I hadn't noticed in the pictures - but that is really just me being very pernickety about aesthetics.

I've been using this case for the past month now and OtterBox haven't failed me yet on any of their cases.The leather is now breaking in which is making the case a lot more comfortable to hold, especy if you like to fold cases back while using your phone like I do. Some of the leather has started to curl on an edge slightly from where I put it into my pocket, but the stitching looks to be holding it in place well enough.The magnet is decent, it doesn't turn off the screen automatically but you could download an app to do so when you block the proximity sensor.I've dropped my phone once or twice from about pocket level and no damage has been done to my device or the case.OtterBox are keeping their high standards,

Firstly I couldn’t get this on the iPhone release date from Amazon so I purchased direct. I perceive this to be the best around at the moment however it is not without its flaws. Mine arrived with marks on the front and back. I could have returned it at this point but instead chose to live with it because in use it will get marked anyway. Secondly the front flap doesn’t sit well where it hinges. I am hoping in time it will wear enough to close an air and dust gap at the top and base. Thirdly the magnetic catch despite working well protrudes too much in my opinion and should fit more snug. The lining inside is not as soft as older versions but the rubber bumper surrounding the phone offers excellent protection as does the front and rear casing.

Otterbox are some of the best cases for phones on the market - having used the defender series on other phones - The Strada is a bit of a departure from their old formula. There is only the external hardcase which the device slots into, with the leather like screen protector secured with a little magnet. The case is well made and easy to fit. It does have a card slot on the inside of the flap. As you would expect with Otterbox the moulded case conforms to the phone well and doesn't interfere with any of the phones hard buttons. As for dropping the phone, the case has been tested on several different floors and so far... it has done its job admirably. It is worth the price asked for the quality.

Dec 2019 UPDATE - Having had this for nearly 2 years now it's the best case I've ever had. I work on building sites and it's held up to all the abuse of dust, impact etc etc with remarkably little wear, case still looks good, and the phone is pristine.I was not disappointed even though it was the most expensive case I consideredYou get what you pay for in this instance. A thick silicone case holds the phone securely and protected, but the cut outs are large enough to take charger cables with wide housing. The leather flip cover shields the phone but isn't bulky. The closing tab sticks out a bit and at first I thought it could have been more neatly designed but then realised that those couple

I bought this case back in April for my new iPhone X which looks very nice and fits very nicely but I noticed whoever I called kept saying that they can hardly hear me or can't hear me at all. I thought it must be the new case covering the mobile's microphone because the voice was OK out of the case. As I am very happy with the case so I thought to modify the case by cutting and partly removing the end where it was covering the microphone/mouth piece. This didn't solve the problem so I did more testing and found out surprisingly that if I cover the edges of my mobile which fit inside the case with Sellotape the voice gets much better and clearer and there is no more muffing of the voice.

This is a great case. Fits the iPhone X perfectly. Looks good, made of leather, grips the phone well, well reinforced. So what’s the problem?There are just two ....Firstly it’s black. I put my phone down in this case and I’m going to lose it. It’s black. The currency case is a shocking purple from Apple. I don’t lose my phone because the current purple case catches everyone’s eye. They need to offer this in some bright colours.Second grumble and it’s even smaller. The card holder inside the case. It will need to be a very thin card and only one of them. This case is the best phone case I've ever had. It fits the phone really well and looks great. The protection is also the best I've had as it really holds the phone firmly with nothing open to be hurt when the front covers the screen. I've not dropped the phone, but I can see that the case is designed to give outstanding protection.The front cover is a flap that hinges at the side and won't pull away at the back to give you a triangle phone stand. While the phone stand could be useful, I have found that these hurt the integrity of the case, so having a flap that stays in place is a good choice.The catch is also a great feature,

I was really pleasantly surprised to receive this case only 3 days after placing the order, how`s that for a super service?? The case itself is everything that was said about it. It is elegant, classy, feels really great, and it honestly offers the kind of protection one would wish to have foran iPhone 6. The phone is rather delicate, so one needs to take care of it and give it a solid protection, especially if one is clumsy and tends to drop it. This particular case does offers all the protection needed, and without compromising on the elegance, it looks great, it is not bulky, it isbuilt sturdily, and it will last. otterbox are a premium phone case manufacturer and this case is no different.The clam shell side of the case fits the iphone X superbly well and all buttons are accessible and easily used. The leather of the folio side is well trimmed and fitted and the card slots, though tight, are suitable for a couple of cards.there is a magnetized clasp that keeps the folio shut and in practice its just magnetic enough for the job whilst not being stupidly powerful.The clamshell side is cut wide enough to allow for installation of a glass screen protector if required and its rubberized compound would seem to be protective enough for a drop or two.all in all this is a superb case and well worth the
