A versatile battery charger that has a reasonable sensing ability for battery status. Not infallible and can refuse to charge some batteries. This is not uncommon and this model is better than may others I have owned. May be worth keeping a basic dumb charger to start the charging process with any difficult batteries. I suspect many rechargeable batteries are disposed off with plenty of life left because they have been allowed to completely discharge.The base of the unit gets very hot underneath in the recessed section. May be worth taking care of what you place it on when charging. The higher number of batteries being charged at one time the hotter it gets.This device can charge many different battery sizes ypes including Li-ion batteries and has USB power output.

After looking at many chargers for 18650 batteries and using shall we say lots of "dodgy", cheap and probably dangerous Chinese ones... I chose the Nitecore for it's reported solid build.Our primary use for these batteries is torches, we live in the countryside!!! I wanted to have the charger in the bedroom, next to my clock = easy functional access.Problem... As you add batteries to the i8 it buzzes! AHHHHH, OK, quietly, maybe I can tolerate it!.... But, no... the more you add the louder the buzzing gets.....I've now housed the i8 elsewhere and although this is annoying I am really happy with the product, its deffinatley a solid build and functional and charges the cells quickly, therefore efficiently,

This is the best charger that i've ever bought. I've always been wary charging batteries with mixed capacities, but this charger handles it with ease. It delivers on both quality and performance. Worth every penny.

Charges my batteries so much faster and is ideal for charging all types, really handy bit of kit as I have 18650 and 20700 battery mods well worth a buy!!

It was a present for someone and he was really happy with it. He plugged it in as soon as he opened it and was happy with the results.

This charger is good but Shane it has no battery indicators to tell you how battery is doing but otherwise great bit of kit

It charges a great range and size of battery,it will charge eight battery’s at a time,a great product.
