I needed a replacement charger due to a failing fan on an old rapid charger, repair was not cost effective so it had to be a replacement. This twin port charger although more expensive gives me the option to charge 2 batteries simultaneously on those occasions when I am using a mini grinder or saw and 'eating batteries' It frees up a socket in my workshop at the same time, downside is, it won't fit in my kit boxes but that is not an issue.Otherwise it is just a fast charger that does the job.

There's nothing worse than running out of power when you work with cordless tools! I bought this on a whim and was glad I did, as I can not only charge two batteries but by adding a smal USB Hub I can charge my phone and head torch at the same time! To say I'm impressed would be an understatement, I'm chuffed to bits! Value for money is reflected in the price.

This charger has two sets of electronics so it really can deal with two batteries at once. Not just two in series.The downside is it's large footprint. However, I've mounted it on a shelf so it's convenient. It can be set up with two different charge finished warnings so you don't need to look which battery is done!Excellent charger highly recommended.

Do not waste your time with the non-genuine dual makita chargers.This one is brilliant value compared with Screwfix etc all wanting over £100. This charges my 6ah batteries with ease in about 45 mins made possible with the cooling fans ensuring the batteries and unit do not overheat. I would recommend this to anyone as long as the price stays the same.

I have two of these chargers and I cannot fault them, having the ability to charge two or more batteries at the same time is so important now days as you could have several cordless tools being used on a site at any one time, not only that but it has a USB port so you can charge your phone or tablet as well. Spot on!

Its a battery charger, and does a good job of charging my batteries, the wife uses it to charge her mobile phone and the batteries for my Makita vacuum cleaner. The cleaner was mine, but she has nicked it. So its a good buy if you more than a couple batteries on the go. The charger is big.

I replaced a single makita charger that is past its best, decided to get one of these. As I use lots of 18v kit it’s handy having it nearby, each battery can be set with its own tone to sound when ready and has a USB port to allow you to charge your phone. Well priced too.

It quick charges keeps batteries fan cooled and can be left on with automatic switch off. I have a Makita single battery charger but need to charge two simultaneously as I now have a range of 36V garden machines.

Fabulous charger! I've been using makita for over thirty years, they're such reliable, quality products, and this double charger certainly delivers, great to be able to charge two batteries at the same time!

Being battery powered I was sceptical about the products range capacity. However, I have a huge overgrown garden and these batteries lasted throughout the whole cutting process without fading.

Good battery charger for all makita lovers. I have 6 makita 18v tools and this charger really charges fast on both batteries simultaneously. Would highly recommend it definitely saves time.

Very good charger. Ideal for people who use different makita tools while working. Safe in the knowledge that there is always a battery on charge. Highly recommend this charger.

A quality product at a great price.Built to Makita usual standard.I have 12 Makita tools but only 6 batteries.So it's great to be able to charge 2 batteries at a time.

This is an excellent addition to my tools, my Makita rechargeable tool kit has grown, so being able to charge more batteries at once is a bonus.
