2batteries make it last longer, very cool light mode ring switchonly downsides are absence of usb charging & a weird tail cap locking design which in my opinion is not secure enouph for heavy use, but if you shave off a bit of the metal click lock pins then they will never accidentally get pushed in & unlock on their own ;)

My partner loves this torch, says it's the best present he's had! It goes from extremely bright to very dim & the coloured lights are great too but he would like to be able to stand it up on it's end.

this was a gift for my Son so not sure how it works
