Does the job adequately, the battery holds a good charge, it charges quickly and for most jobs I have undertaken with the Einhell jigsaw I own, it carries sufficient power. Unfortunately all Einhell products appear to come without a battery and charger and so you have to purchase this entry level item and many of us may find that the battery does not hold sufficient power for a job and will be compelled to purchase a further battery, probably one with a larger capacity as the price differential is not that great (£17.00 more for a 3.0 as opposed to a 1.5 Ah). It would be nice if there were an option to purchase the charger and different capacity batteries subject to need. That said,

I have been using this battery pack and charger with the Einhell sander and so far have been impressed by the battery life.I have to say that Einhell is not a make of power tool or battery that I had come across but there is a consistent high quality to both the sander I have and this battery charger.This is an easy to operate charger which has the feel of a well engineered unit.The battery that is supplied with the charger is 18v and 1.5Ah and this is a perfect fit for my sander, the larger 3.0Ah might not fit in the available space.One of the things I like about the battery is the provision of three LEDs which show the amount of charge left in the battery - a nice touch.Charging involves slotting the battery into the charger,

I love this battery and charger it was ready to go in 30 mins. The only problem is it arrived with a 2 pin plug which I wasn’t aware of so I had to change it for a uk one but that’s easy enough to do then it worked perfectly for me but be aware that you will probably need an adapter to get it to work in the UK

A 2 year old could use this! Very easy.Simple and a quick charging time - exactly what I needed, so I can just keep on going, by using a battery and charging another.Ideal!

charges the battery in about four hours, which is just as well because a fully charged battery only lasts about 30 mins work

Very powerful unit, excellent quality, only reason for four stars - comes with two pin European connector and NO adaptor.

Fast Charging - use it - if it goes flat - 30 minutes later and your ready for another round - really good
