Very important if you own a Mazda5 1.6d from 2011 onwards please read on or any Mazda after 2011 with DPF. I purchased my Mazda from Perrys in Aylesbury, they was not Mazda dealers but sold other makes and models. When they serviced my car at 19k miles whilst doing prep work they used 5/30 oil, as thats what the vehicle specified as per the Manual. Anyway since my engine is PSA, shared by Ford, Peugeot, BMW etc and well known in forums to have carbon issues which results in premature turbo failures i decided to half my service intervals to 5k. So at 23k i changed the oil and oil filter using this oil and oil filter from this seller which is genuine.

I have used this oil on my previous service and it has worked out very well. I do my service every 10K-12K miles interval and I don't seem to have any problems so far. My car is a Mazda 3 1.6 DI Turbo 2008. I have seen that this was the type of oil that has been used by Mazda dealer when I had it serviced with them and I am using the same one ever since.

We've used this in our 2006 mazda 5 2.0 turbo diesel since new. It has done 138000 miles with no dpf issues. Don't forget to reset the oil dilution level after changing the oil.
