Fantastic product. Always buy your car manufacturers recommend oil for a longer lasting performance and reliability. My car has an indicator like most stating top up oil. This is normally 1l every 6-9 months depending on millage. So will last me 2 years minimum and I’m doing about 1300miles a month. You go into many places and there offering on brand for a few quid less, it’s not worth having to get your car drained as it starts to get older because parts and as well lubricated as the can be. Massive saving compared to buying the same brand via retail. Probably cheapest I have purchased this at. Most companies that offer oil and promoting there own brand for a lower cost. It’s like using supermarket fuel.

I bought a 2008 Golf plus 1.9 PD TDI, first I bought a filter and some cheaper oil from a well know UK supermarket to flush the engine, i ran the car for a 2 weeks at first then drained the oil and put the same 5w 30 in again which was noted to be the lower 504 oil for the car which needs changing more often anyway, I ran the car for another three days with a second load of economy brand oil then drained that after coming off the motorway, changed the oil for this product and again a new oil filter, I did this because the woman who owned it before me seemed to think swapping the oil every 12-18 months was good servicing EEK!

OK so this oil is not the cheapest, however it is far from the most expensive, in fact its probably at the lower end of the price spectrum.I picked this as it was recommended by the VW dealership over the telephone. To be perfectly honest I was not expecting to notice any change in engine performance, the car is less than a year old old, however having purchased and put this into the car it really does seem to have had an effect on startup I can feel and hear.The engine seems to startup much smoother than previously, maybe its a placebo effect. There wasn't an issue with the engine prior to putting this in but it really does seem smoother.I initially only purchased a litre but am going to pick

My car is an alcoholic. It drinks like an irish sailor at a wedding. If it's not the fuel running low, the AdBlue running low, it's the screen wash running low or the engine coolant running low. No, there are no leaks. It's just thirsty... all the time.But i'm not a cheapskate either. So bought this because i'm an enabler of the my alcoholic Audi. Did it do the trick? 100%. Did I almost over fill the dam thing being so eager to shut it up? You bet.My advise? Buy a car which knows how to use a straw and isn't downing pints because it has nothing better to do.

I really like this oil and have been using it for many years. Sometimes I use the Long Life variant but usually I go with what is the best value. I use it in Tiguan (5N) as it carries the certification for my engine. It lasts well, the engine seems to like it and I never had any problems with premature engine wear so I would say it does the job well. The price is almost one third of the retail price in my local shop! Delivery usually takes a couple of days and I never had any spills. I can only recommend this, especially to VW Diesel motor owners.

Superb oil! Wont use any other! The oil i drained was very slightly discoloured after 1 year of use! I was late doing this oil change as i usually change every 6 months! Engine is lovely and clean...cannot fault this oil! Yes its expensive...and for a full change you need just over the 4L,so i bought a litre of the same. Theres enough left for top-ups! Its the best you can put in a high performance car! Ive got a civic type r! Runs an absolute dream! This liquid gold keeps my babe on top notch! ?

I work for BP, so I know this is some of their best lubricant products. Its a high performance oil, suitable for my S5 audi. Only issue I have is the quantities oil seems to come in these days - what car takes 4 litres of this sort of oil ? Anyway its a fraction of the cost Audi dealers were wanting for the same fluid, so its a no brainer - buy 2 cans, do your oil change yourself or self supply to dealer and pocket the savings from manual labour cost only. Came super quick with Amazon prime.

This is a well proven over time top quality motor oil. I have no issues in recommending this brand. However, always change oil and oil filter, regardless of which oil you use at a maximum of 8000 miles.Do not rely on the rubbish and exaggerated claims made by vehicle manufacturers and oil companies that oils can last for extended periods. They have vested interests to make sure that vehicles do not last for ever! An oil change costs a lot less than a new engine.

I can't say that the mileage has increased after using this oil. That's because it depends on what supplier you use in the UK to fill up your tank. Shell, BP diesel always gives me a better mileage. The noticeable difference so far has been the heart beat of the engine. It's much quieter and I feel that the performance has improved greatly. Where I use to get a lag between the change of gears it much more smoother now and slight revs car kicks off with omph!

I love castrol oil. It really does make a difference. Most people will say just get thr cheap oil, but my car is nearly always happy with castrol. My swift feels so much smoother and revier with it. Admittedly it can't cost a fair amount, bit managed to grab it half price on black Friday.Of you love your car and want to give it the best chance at life, give it castrol. I will always spend the bit more for castrol because I know my car will be happier.

Have used Castrol for years on all my cars and never had a problem with engine wear. Despite a lot of short journeys never any sludge build up or condensation or corrosion inside engine. I stick with what I know works. As an ex vehicle technician I would advise never economise on engine oil or oil filters. (unless your running a banger of course). Got it for a brilliant price from VW Motorparts through Amazon.

The oil did a great job , engine seemed quieter a little pricy but I suppose you get what you pay for . Can’t really understand why so many different types of oil ie c2 c3 c4 A5 etc I know they say for different engines but oil is oil . Used to choose by 0w 30 or 5w30 , many car manufacturers share engines any way. But Castrol is a brand I know so that’s why I got it

the second time I buy Engine oil from here, I changed 9000 - 10000, I want the engine to be fresh and work well,I know that it is not 8L,somewhere 7.4L, my car f30 320d m sports 184hp, l think its works better for factory cars not super car upgraded Stage 1, Stage 2 or ECO remap ,only Factory, who wants a longer engine life and save Money

while the correct oil for your car is important, please do not under estimate the importance of the additives within the oil, NOT ALL OILS ARE CREATED EQUALLY.This oil is top speck and while shopping arround this oils was prices at £58+ all the way up to £70. if you own your car and want the engine to last then buy good quality oil...

Having tried various different oil brands in the past, I now stick to Castrol Edge for my Golf MK4 GTI. It runs very smooth on this oil & I get good fuel performance from it. I have done nearly 130,000 miles and it still purrs along nicely with this oil. Highly recommend this oil for any performance cars.
